Multiple accounts and myLot

This is not my only account in myLot. I had another account with a similar user-name. I was doing good. I managed to made about $2 in 3 days. I was happy. Was feeling fortunate to have found this site. Then something happened. I tried to login on the forth day and was shocked to know that my account has been suspended/banned, not sure. Disappointed? Indeed. I did not understand what went wrong. I believed myLot to be a legit site. Thus, I re-registered myself. This time I made sure that I go through and understand the guidelines and FAQs before I proceed. I did realize my mistake then. Earlier I just knew that posting referral links is prohibited, but I didn't know that promoting one's blog, website, etc. is not allowed too. So last time I was active and aggressive. I didn't post any referral link, but where able possible I added by website. I thought back then, a website can belong to anyone. Just because I'm adding it for reference, it doesn't means I'm the owner of it or promoting it. But I was wrong. Yes, I didn't understand things very well then. Since then, 4 months have passed with my new account. I enjoyed every bit of it. myLot has given me a lot - It paid me once, my highest from any site. I learned a lot of new things. I clarified several problems. I made new friends. I got a couple of referrals for my other sites. Most importantly, I had fun. myLot has become a part of my life now. So if you were wondering why this discussion has been categorized or added to the interest "life". You're query have been answered.
So here's the discussion for today. Did you ever had to create multiple accounts? What was your reason to do it?

I never had another account in here and I wouldn't think I would like to have another one. Because if I had to make another one, it means that i will be suspended or banned in here which I would really not like at all. So I am sticking with this account and hope not to get banned through the years of myLotting. Besides, I am too lazy to create multiple accounts and maintain so many username and passwords. I already have a lot of username and passwords to remember and I don't want to add up to them.

However, that also poses a lot of risk when an account is hacked. I do have a password master file in excel spreadsheet fully protected in 3 levels. I have memorized the three passwords that I have so I can fully access the master file and be able to see all my other passwords. Helps keep track of all my sites and passwords and also very convenient even if you need to change password because of expiration or necessity.

I agree. Sometimes it becomes very difficult to manage and remember different usernames and passwords. I try to use the same username at different places. That reduces the effort to memorize a bit. Good day!

Yes, in facebook because I play the games there for gifting purposes and responding to finish a certain task again for games. Here, I don't think it is practical to have multiple accounts for it will just scatter your points. so why the heck do that. LOL

True. It will scatter your earnings and if caught, all such accounts will be banned. Which means loosing your earnings. Good day!

No- I never did.
This is my one and only account since I have joined Mylot.
I always try to follow the guidelines to avoid having problem.
I listen and ask other mylotters if certain rule/s are not clear for me.
I am here for more than 4 years already and been enjoying the site without any hassle.

Multiple accounts on this site at the same time? Is that possible?

Also considering the point that the same person has referred other 5 mirror images of himself and is also earning from them as referrals. But what about the PayPal? At the time of payment they'll be caught. Unless they have added different e-mails to the same PayPal i.d. and using each e-mail for each myLot account.

I am glad to know you could earn 2 dollars in just 3 days, means you worked hard, multiple accounts in the same name is not allowed, you can check in guide lines; i have my account and another by my wife, this is allowed.
Thanks for sharing.

The previous account was not with the same name, but it was similar. Now that I'm aged 4 months in myLot I understand and practise the guidelines better. Good day!

Hi friend, good to know about your story, this is my second account with mylot, so only i used 2 with my user name. My previous accounts was banned due to the promoting activities as you mentioned. We must be very careful in mylot and follow the guidelines to keep our account safe. By the way i lost around 45 dollars with mylot with my previous account unfortunately i set my payout limit as 50 dollars and lost my account while reaching the money, we must be very careful while setting the minimum payout also. I shared it here, because some mylotters will be careful after reading this reply.

Interesting story. Too bad you lost such a big amount. It has been my policy to always cashout when we reach the minimum payout, unless addition benefit is available to cashout at higher level, like AyuWage and Swagbucks. Two reasons for that:-
1. You are never certain when a site turns scam.
2. You are never know when your account maybe banned for violating the policy unintentionally.
Good day!

yes, we must be careful with it. Previously i set my payout limit as 100 dollars and got it with my 5 months hard work, so only i set 50 dollars as the next payout, but unfortunately i lost my account. Now i am careful and don't change my payout limit, it is stable at 10 dollars

So you've reached $100 before, then $45 and after that your account had been banned!? Strange. By then I'm sure that you've understood the guidelines and FAQs by hard. How did you commit a mistake like that, being a pro?

I have not had multiple accounts anywhere. I have multiple sites where I have accounts, but that is not what you are asking about. My husband and I share a PayPal here but he does not respond enough to reach payout. He has one time only. We go to whatever computer we can get to. This laptop belongs to me, but I will let him use it. On very rare occasions I will use the desktop. I guess I should go back and respond to the person who asked about that.

Well, I have only had the one account with myLot. It sounds as though I have been fortunate not to have run into any of the troubles that others discussed here. I joined about 3 years ago. I think it may have been that I joined during Christmas break when I had time off from school. I did read the guidelines and FAQ. I did earn a few cents here and there from the site, but I never really figured it out that much. I think part of the issue was that I was pretty busy with working on my Master's degree.
I had kind of totally forgotten about myLot truthfully. It was not until recently as I was trying to figure out how to make some extra money that I had remembered about myLot. That was about the time that I returned to the site in mid October of this year.
It is amazing how in seven short weeks how myLot has become quite a big part of my life. I love sharing with others on the site. The people and friends on myLot have been so supportative. I love it here, and I never plan to leave again.
Perhaps the biggest lesson that I am taking from those here is that it is never to late to have a second, third, or fourth chance to succeed at something in life. Thank you everyone for sharing.

This the only account I have with mylot and so far I have not faced any such problem. You have done a good job by sharing your own experience, that would help others who might try to promote their blogs or sites desperately through mylot.

Hi friend!
I am glad that some friends are sharing their experiences with the site. Honestly, I never tried to open several accounts in any site that I have joined. I am not very good in doing that, he he. Besides, I could not even attend and give full time to one account why would I do another account?
Actually the reason why I joined the site is to promote my other site but when I found out that it is not allowed in here, I was disappointed at first. But later on I discovered that beauty of myLot and since then I never leave this site.
Have a nice day!

You know, I too had joined myLot with the objective to earn and promote my website. But it wasn't allowed and I had to learn it the hard way. Yes for me too one account is enough. I only had to create this one since my first account was banned. Good day!

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well glad to know that u have realized how important Mylot holds in your life and in fact we all are grateful to this site for giving us a very good platform to earn and learn both at the same time. I think u should have gone through the guidelines of this site properly initially so that u would have never regretted the fact that one of your account was blocked. Besides mylot also restricts a single person having multiple accounts as it is illegal not only for this site but for all sites.
What say?

Subhojit, illegal is too harsh a word I believe. Anyhow, I'm not running multiple accounts at one time, so its not wrong, I think. As long as I sign up by satisfying the criteria(s), I'm good. By the way, I do not regret anything. I take it as a learning experience. Good day!
