It's really hard for me to decide my position because usually others just tell me what to play. Those are the persons who are really superior in skills compared to me. I actually play PG in my Highschool days but after that my playmates let me play Powerforward or even the Center position. And i'm really comfortable in shooting outside shots, perimeter jumpers, and dishing the ball to open teammates. Maybe they think that because now i'm chubby i can play PF or C positions. How can i solve this, anything that i can do.?.

I mean you can play PF or C but still do what do you best. It will work out fine. Use gang rebounding so that even though you are outside of the paint, other players can box out and rebound.

I was thinking the same thing now. Just like Andrea Bargnani of the Raptors or Lamar Odom. They are outside threats as well as they could rebound, box out, and also be a play maker. :)

dont get confused or worked up so much, just stick to the basic level and position where you are comfortable and start playing there all the time for sure

Oh thanks. Usually during a game, I just do my thing and follow things that they want me to do. But I'm usually effective in the offense because in the defensive side, i just use my wide body to box out and let my taller teammates get the boards. Thanks you again for that.

Usually, on one glance, a coach will automatically choose a PG player who is leaner and faster. If they think your not fit in that position, why not try taking some weight off you. This move usually takes time and sometimes hard to achieve, so the next best thing to do is to play whatever position assigned to you. You can shoot outside, do perimeter jumps and pass balls to your teammates even if your not a PG. Just be effective during the time that your on the court and keep your energy level high to do many hustle plays aside from scoring.

You should be Power forward. You can dish out some sweet shots, plus you can get a good shooting spot on the court.I used to play as a PF and it turned out pretty good.I was making wonderful swishes, and slam dunks.I recommend being a PF.

Take a page from Lebron and just play. Maybe play them all if you can. It doesnt matter if you can play defense, put the ball on the floor and shoot. Good luck!
