Why do you have Twitter and Facebook Account

I started with FaceBook way back when it was new. I also started with Twitter when it was new. I use them both mainly for promoting sites like MyLot and others I use to earn online. I find that FaceBook and Twitter are great tools to use for promoting.

I don’t use my Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts to promote any certain business; hence I do have such social networking sites because all of my friends are hooked to it. And also, it is a good way to track some activities that the people close to you are doing.For instance, your relatives that are living across another state, with the help of social networking, you are up to date on what activities they are doing in their life.

I have both, but i don't promote any thing there; i visit facebook at times to see what my friends shared...

No reason behind this site is good so create the account. I not promote my online business because not know about it. No open for chatting because boring chat in facebook.

I have a Facebook account, I made an account after my cousin suggest me to sign up there. After signing I didn't use it for long time, but after 1 year I found there all my friend so I started use it. Now everyone has Facebook and there are not better ways than fb to keep contacts with friends.

Hi friend, fb and twitter are good social sites which is having a lot of members. I am using my fb account to keep in touch with my family members and friends. I am using this site to promote my articles and get some visitors using this site.

Why? it's simply because to keep update and contact to your family, friends, old friends, etc.

Fb is a hobby you can't do without these days. twitter is even better, 140 characters and you can cause the downfall of govts.

Like most of us, I have a Facebook and Twitter to stay connected with my friends and with the world most of the updates were being done through these social medias and it wouldn't hurt to be part of it as well, right?

Out of craze, I joined facebook and twitter. But I aint felt any drive for the site.

Ok I'd give the most honest answer I had when I created these 2 accounts before =D I had my FB 5 years ago only because a friend from "Friendster" keeps on inviting me to join Facebook.. Because it has games that can be played interactively among other people online. It is very much NOT like Friendster.. We can't share/compete games versus each other :D (a social networking site that's very popular here at the Philippines) I have been in that state for 3-5 months, I have not added other people except that 1 friend whom I played with that time.. It was later on when Facebook became a trend so we add up each other, then that's how the photo sharing, tagging are done.. xD But now, I don't give much importance to FB.. Proof is that I had deactivate it 1st week of October until now, to see if I can take it and yes.. =D It was different the first week, but now I'm used to it's absence :) Twitter? I joined it way back, only because I was curious how it works but, followed NO person and think it's not a place for me at the moment. It's a place for someone who has "Activity/Updates" to share time to time or someone who wants update time to time.. It's a place for 2 parties.. the IDOL and the FAN as I see it.. xD Well.. for now I am not in any of the 2.. SO i preferred not using my account there =D Hope you like my own answers :)))

3 years ago i register my facebook account for add my friend but i never think I would make friends with people from outside my country. I have a lot of my friend from outside my country especially from Japan. I have more than 2000 friend in facebook but right now i just use my facebook promote my referral and doing some chat. I have twitter account but i not active because i dont have any follower and i not very understand to use twitter.

I've tried a few twitter accounts to plug things, but I really don't like doing that, so I've abandoned them all. I only use Facebook for close friends, so I have 5 people there until I meet someone else I get along with. Facebook is how I keep in contact with close childhood friends, and relatives I rarely see physically.

I have both Twitter and Facebook, although I use Facebook more. I use Facebook to talk to a certain group of people that share the same interest in a band as me. (Green Day) And they take up the majority of my friendlist because there is over 200 of them. Otherwise it is just family and some people I knew when I was at school. I mainly post statuses and photos of the meme/Green Day variety. On Twitter, I found it is nowhere near as personal as Facebook so I just use it to keep up with certain celebrities that interest me, Like Ed Sheeran and Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day). I have around 300 followers and they are mainly Ed Sheeran and Green Day fans!

Likewise I have account on both social media sites because I wanna keep in touch with my friends and co-workers and most of all my family. I use Facebook to keep in touch with my family, friends, schoolmates, workmates and find new friends online. On the other hand, I use Twitter, also for my family, friends and find new friends too, but most of the time I use it for promoting my website, and making money online. I know it has been a fad these days and knowing that almost all people in any walk of life has accounts on both sites. They might as well have the same reason as mine, and in these age of technology wherein almost all individual are using smartphones then they are more likely to create accounts on both sites using mobile internet access.

Well, with me, I do have facebook and twitter to stay in touch with my old friends and gain new friends in the net. I really have a lot of friends who I was not able to keep in touch with since I only started being active on those sites lately. I kind'a regret canceling my old account with facebook and not starting up early in twitter.

I do have facebook and twitter to keep in touch with my family and friends. I have an old friends that I haven't keep in touch for a long time and we added each other on facebook and keep in touch after a long time.
