Most time you can bring the animals with you, they have specific rules though. Many times they need to be vaccinated and proof of this before travelling. I couldn't imagine moving and leaving my 6 behind, and just starting a new life nothing.

Hello Bronco and welcome to myLot! I understand your cousin perfectly. Once you had a dog in your family, you can't see a dog otherwise than a family member. And, as for any family member, you can't live and let her behind. I am not sure I understood well where does you cousin need to move. If I got it right and he wants to move to Philippines, here's a guide to follow: http://thelmaalberts.hubpages.com/hub/How-To-Bring-Your-Dog-To-The-Philippines It seems it is not impossible to bring his dog with him, only he has to follow some regulations and to pay for the permit fee and the inspection fee. Of course, if the dog hasn't got a passport yet, it will cost a little more to get the papers, along with all the vaccinations needed.
