Please help! Question regarding Wifi and DS.

For years now I have been trying to connect my Nintendo DS to the internet...To no avail!
I have tried everything. Followed numerous guides online, watched videos of people doing it on youtube and the like. But nothing I do works! I am usually very good at things like this so I am incredibly confused. If anyone has anything to offer in the way of advice, I would be grateful!

Hello,
When I first got my DS, it took me forever to figure it out.
If you have the older DS (Nintendo DS and lite), the only time you can connect to the internet is when facing others. Even on this, it's very hard unless you use your own wifi connection. If you have the new DS (i and 3ds) as long as you connect it through settings, you can actually browse the internet.

in many cases you must set the best wi-fi network available on your area for example where i live setting a wi-fi connection would result impossible because this technology is not really developed in many cases you can find good network in the big urban cities and not in small one....
