Presents?!

I'm having a hard time keeping track of everything this year. A new baby due January moving the first of December and then Xmas in the middle. I'm having a hard time deciding what to get who and how much to spend. Any ideas on how to strategize?

To keep track of everything, I make lists. I used to keep a little notebook but now keep my list on my cell phone notepad.
To make everything easier this year, I'm just getting everyone one little gift and giving them gift cards. easier that way, they can get what they want and sales are always better after Christmas.

I agree on this. I also make a list to make sure I have those who really matter in my gift list and at the same time be able to keep track on my spendings. I don't want to spend more than necessary. And this year, I just also realized that for those people whom I find it hard to get something, gift cards should be fine. That way, I know that they will be able to get something that is useful for them. If there's one thing I hate about gift giving is to learn that they find my gift useless.
