I was coming back from a late lunch when I remembered that right by one of the entrances to the biggest library here in Chicago, two teen females and one teenaged boy started picking a fight with me and a friend. I started to walk on, not wanting any part of it when one of the teen female's hit me from behind with her purse. I stopped, took out my cell phone and called the cops. One of the females saw I had a cell phone, said "She's calling the cops" the other 2 ran to the underground train station. I filed a police report. The next time I saw the teen boy, he was making jokes in front of the security guard laughing about the assault on my friend and I. Since it was one of the females to hit me with her purse, I was told the cops could not arrest the teen boy. I asked the cop if he could make it clear to the boy to tell him that he and his friends stay away from me. He did. I have not seen them since. For people to go assaulting others who never did anything to deserve any kind of violence is wrong. The female did have something hard like steel in her purse. One day they will pay for all that they do wrong. Everyone will. No matter what we do, everyone has to answer for what is done each day of your life. Good and bad!
