Earlier this morning, I was walking along the pavements of our school to seek for a certain store for my assignment. While walking, I happened to see lots of garbage scattered all around which i do not normally see. Furthermore, my walking made me see clearer than before the life of the beggars out there. I was so disgusted about myself. Disgusted because I failed to see the situation sooner, for if I do, I should have been kinder to them and be more responsible. But even so, I am thankful for this situation served as an eye opener to me. Not that I do not really know this from the very beginning, of course I knew, but this time, I was able to comprehend the situation and finally gave me a stand regarding this matter.

it really takes a change of routine for us to notice small details in our sorroundings. sometimes we take things for granted that we fail to be aware of this issues.
now that you've seen it, what are you going to do about it? those in authority may have seen these things too, but they still turn the other way and pretend that nothing is wrong with it. i hope they would see things the way that you saw it that morning.

Yes, I also hope so. As a student, I know my abilities are limited compared to the government itself, but it will not hinder me to help in ways I know. Have a good day to you.

Because of our busy lives, we tend to just go through life seeing only what is right in front of you but not realizing the meaning of all of it until you just suddenly stop and think and you'd see just how different your life is from others. We could be just passing by beggars in the street without really thinking of how could they be able to live in such condition or if they are able to eat clean food, etc.
I think seeing them will make us humble ourselves.

Yes, I agree with you. Somehow, it humbles us from our desires, desires that are unlimited and needs to be satisfied. As a result, we tend to strive for more, though striving for more is a good thing also, but when used in a wrong way, will lead to pride and boastfulness and thus there's no humility at all.

Sometimes it made me feel annoyed when people keep complaining about their life while there are other people who are less fortunate than they are but strive hard to keep living.
I do not understand why people needs more when they have so much to give.
Instead of complaining, why can't they look around and look at those people around them who doesn't have anything.
We can learn a lot from people around us, and pick up the good lesson from them and tell ourselves we are blessed.

We seem to take them for granted without realizing that their number on the streets are getting increase every single day.I hope that politicians for this coming election will also have an eye for that problem. In order to prevent that to scattered and cause more trouble, it clearly demands immediate actions.
