Actually if you think about this question indepthly an answer is hard to conclude. Meaning, Godzilla is more indestructable and i would say is more popular. but King Kong was first. Final verdict is, GODZILLA, he totally owned King Kong in 1962.

I think Godzilla. Godzilla is much more fierce and destructive.
