good relationship or very bad?

Today i have wedding party for this lunch time. My mother in law has family related to party's owner from bride side. The organizer made the party in three side chairs. left side there are many round tables and the chairs is for the groom family. The right side is for the bride family. And the back side is for the guesses. but when we are there, they sound like don't know us. they don't let us sit down in their family side. I feel like we are not their family. That all family very arrogant even to my father in law. When we are there,no body want to speak to us or afraid if other see us speaking to them as family. Is this just my feeling or just my bad side speak like this? i am very mad to that family. But i must bring my father in law to the party because family relationship. Any body have this experience?

I can't think of any situation that ever happens to me.
But in any case that, I know in the first place that the host did not want me and my family to there- I prefer not to attend.
But, if I never knew from the start that they will treat us like strangers- maybe I will let the occasion finish and then talk with them about the matter-later.

It happens all the time in different situations. Not just in wedding. People are people and we have different strokes to make. that's their style and that's how they deal with people we can not do anything about it. You don't have to be mad at them because it is just a waste of energy, just think .. so that's who you are, well fine. Karma is always around. Let the nature take it course. Relax.
