Bathing a baby can be challenging. If you're a first-time mother, it's best that you ask someone who's experienced to show you how to do it. And then copy what she does and do it in front of her so that she can point out your mistakes. I hope you have a healthy and beautiful baby and don't worry too much. You'll get the hang of it.

When I had both of my babies my youngest is know 12 weeks. I got a baby tube and placed them on there slings and take a soft wash rage and wash them but till there umbilical cord falls off you have to was them by hand not in the tub. I got baby wipes that you could use as washing as well with no acohol in them which Pampers makes. Which is how I washed both of my babies and when the cord fell off then I but them in there baby sling in the tube. Check babies r us online and you can find all the stuff you need for newborns bath time.

I don't have a child yet but I have few ideas to share with you.
You can soak your baby in a tub (you can find that tub somewhere along with the other baby stuffs).
You must be holding you baby, support his head and don't let it soak in the water because your baby might get drowned or something.
Then use baby's shampoo, pour all over him and rinse him.
You should be very delicate on him.
Or if you're really scared to bathe him, just use sponge bath, wipe him with a damp soft towel or cloth with soap and then rinse him with water, use a soft cloth too.
Congratulations! Hope you will deliver the baby in good condition.

This is the situation that every mom faces after their 1st pregnancy. Even i was very scary when i had gave bath to my baby for the first time. Try to see when our elders are giving bath to your baby then slowly try to give bath with there assistance, And remember dont ever try to give bath to your baby in the absence of elders until you are perfect in giving bath.
