An odd-eyed cat is a cat with one blue eye and one eye of either green, yellow, or brown. I heard that this kind of cat has one deaf ear. Is it true? Have you heard something like that?

The blue eyed side is often deaf. Its something to do with white-spotting.

all living creatures that no one is perfect and there can be no complete whole certainly is no shortage of either physical or otherwise. as well as a cat that is not there must be intact despite never heard anything like it

I just feel strange why this case will happen to this kind of cat.

I know that albino cats, white cats with blue eyes are often deaf in both ears, so this is perhaps true. There is some kind of a genetic link with blue eyes in white cats and deafness.

Perhaps these cats are not all deaf with two ears. As I had one such kind of cat before and I didn't know that he was deaf.

hi youless I have heard that too that a cat with two different colored eyes is deaf in o ne ear. There are also a few people with this same thing and often they are also deaf in one ear. I am wondering if it because of the freak two different color eyes.

Now I doubt Wentworth Miller who acted in Prison Break also has such kind of problem?

I've never heard that. I have heard that solid white blue eyed cats are frequently deaf, though.

A heterochoromia, I wish I had this one, because this is unique. Yes could be. The cat could be deaf because having this much like to have disease or sick. http://voices.yahoo.com/heterochromia-why-two-different-colors-in-1781765.html

I don't know if all animals with two different colored eyes are deaf, but they are more prone to it. My dalmatian had a blue and brown eye and she was deaf.
