Topic for discussion - where does the inspiration come from

Most of my discussions are on my daily life experiences or else on something that I have read in the papers or in magazines. Sports and politics are not my cup of tea so I dont start discussions on these two topics nor do I respond much on these topics. Everyone has their own favourite subjects for discussion and everyone has inspiration from different sources.

I always started on daily life thoughts and always try to find out the topic from daily conversations like day before yesterday I purchase sari and start discussion about checking before purchasing. Not mostly but daily I start the topic on real life experience.

I can see that most mylot topics come from real life experience- inspired from experiences. I have same topics as well- extracted from real life experiences, whether it is funny, sad and sometimes annoying ones.

You are right that when we are confused about some topic and we post a discussion here we get to hear others views on the subject and are able to get to know more about the topic.

Yes, daily life experiences are typically a good topic for myLot. Politics/ Religion (can) get serious and people could get offended on such discussions.

Religion and Politics are subjects I avoid even in my place of work or my co-travellers. These are touchy topics.

I travel in a local train everyday. Very often we discuss on various topics. I sometimes repeat the same thing in my discussions here. Get to know various views on the same subject.

Hi Nora! How are doing? As for your discussion the topics that I find to relevant or that has instant appeal to me or something that's been bugging me for some reason would be the topics. I try not to respond to the topics that I cannot relate to. My all time favorite topics are those that pertain to social issues. I keep remembering you dear. Lots of love.

He dear, Seeing you after a long time. My present job does not give me much time to be on this site. I too avoid a lot of topics that I either cannot relate to or else are controversial. Do keep in touch on gmail sometimes.

I picture inspiration as a great unseen ocean of knowledge. We are fishermen and we cast our bait according to our paticular needs. There is nothing that can be proven about this vision except that I know energy is present in all things. visual and nonvisual. My mind determines what my needs are at any given time.

We take inspiration from pretty much the same thing. I can best express myself in telling what I am currently feeling than be posting about politics and rocket science. But I do not get to post as much as others would. I just post when there is such an urge to really speak my mind.

You are one of those who like to respond to discussions more than starting discussions I think. It is much easier that way.

Just like you i avoid topics on politics and religion because i am not so well versed in them and in addition, i know that some can get too defensive and aggressive in these topics sometimes. So just like you my topics are usually what happens to me and to which i can relate to. Sometimes, they suddenly pop up in my mind as i encounter them.

I usually write about my daily experiences or stuff that interest me... never really about articles and news. Weird. Because in real life, I do talk a lot about stuff like that.

Very often we do not remember the topics we have been discussing with out friends in our daily life. If we pondered over that we would have a lot more topics to discuss.

I think the biggst inspiration comes from your interests, when you like something very much then you want to share with others,so that is why the inspiration comes from. Do you agree with me?

Topic for discussion, my inspiration is mainly news paper or queries i face related to products i use like mobile handset, computer, web browsers, blogging etc etc. Like yesterday i come across interesting article about proxy server settings, as with help of that you can make changes like you are from India, but your proxy server will give details of some other country. In news paper only that much information was available, but that informations excites me as why one make such changes, what are advantages and disadvantages. How it will affect us, if we go for such changes, this topic is my mind to start, but i am holding it back and enjoying the responding process.

hi mayka I use my own experiences, problems, issues, things from my life to make discussions as they are not like anyone elses. So there is no danger of makng a repeat post.I also at times may make a discussion on how old people are looked at here in the US.I also shy away from sports and politics as people in politics forget their manners and snip and insult each other. Also I do not make discussions on religion.,

Religion and politics are very debatable subjects. Everyones views differ on these subjects. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions so I keep away from these subjects. Its better to be that way.

Mine come from things that happen in the day to day. Though it seems most of the time mine get deleted. I am involved in politics, though I cannot speak about such things here, it seems. For mylot, I think music has been one of my better topics. Though parenting is quickly becoming more so.

When I post discussions, I guess they're about parenting, relationship, friendship, Facebook, myLot, earning money, etc. I also avoid making discussions which are related to sports and politics. I guess I can but my knowledge isn't updated. LOL. I also share experiences about my daily life. I sometimes talk about my hubby, our son, my job, etc. I hope I'll have more topics to share with you. I am still enjoying in joining to the discussions here and I'm not yet in the mood to post my own discussions. LOL.

Hi myka123, inspiration comes within your self-interest. But there's some instances that you might be able to divert to another reason of inspiring yourself just to maintain your interest in life. What exactly i am pointed out here, is the possibility wherein you need to focus something to be inspired of. Like LOVE, people giving more time to engage with this feeling because it's simply creates a better interest to their hearts and personality as a whole.

My posts are pretty much made up of things that have happened to me or things that I have seen. Our house has just gone up for sale, so I will probably be talking about the people who show up at my door. :)
