We were chatting on facebook about on-going events when she brought up the topic on Twilight. I personally felt a bit of shock that she wanted to see it, but if that's what she'd like for today, then I'll have to watch it.. I personally never watched the Twilight movies nor read the book, it's just that this version (if I heard correctly,) has a lot of bad reviews.
Have you seen the movie, and if yes-- is it "watchable"?

Last night I went to the movies and saw the newest Twilight movie they came out with. I expected it to be a lot worse than it actually was. I only saw the first Twilight movie they came out with besides this one but i really enjoyed the one i saw last night. It was very interesting and kept my guessing throughout the movie.

I really enjoy the Twilight movies , I have never red the books though . I love all the Twilight except for the previous one when Bella was pregnant . I have not watch the last one you are talking about but its on my to watch list .
I think it would be better if you watch it from the beginning instead of this one , that will help you to better understand .

Well I probably can't disagree with that.. Not to be shallow, but the men in the movie felt a bit over the top with broad shoulders, one of them having a six-pack.. It's not to say that there aren't a lot of people who are big & burly, though when they start having compassion for this one "human girl" that is more than likely to assume the role of every teenage girl, it's pretty obvious what this movie is doing..
Man, if I were a vampire, I'd like to be the same vampires as the 1930s film.. Probably just me though.

I personally would have to say that after watching the movie, none of it made sense to me, though I know that was to be expected, after not reading any part of the trilogy.i probably should watch the entire movie, though I am a bit afraid of what my buddies will think of me being interested in the twilight series.
I guess that is a question to remain in question until I find a good schedule to be clandestine from friends & family to see what the movie is truly about. Thanks.

Well, to be honest, of the whole Twilight saga, I've only seen the first episode.
I would still like to be able to see them all, including the final, released in recent days.
From what I remember, if you are a lover of horror / thriller, you can enjoy it yourself, otherwise, forget it!
However, I advise you to just start from the first episode, to be able to complete the entire saga.
Contrary to what you've heard, I, on social networks, to me they all spoke well of this series.

Hmm, I personally don't love horror, though it's just going to be there I guess. Action/Adventure would fit my forte, so I guess after having watched skyfall with her the week before, she wants to watch Breaking Dawn with me.

A friend of mine dragged me to the second Twilight movie and it was awful. I found myself laughing throughout the movie, but had a strange experience when the movie finished, I turned to my friend so I could comment on how bad it was, and she said "Wasn't this the best movie you've seen?" Since it was her birthday, I decided not to comment any further. But, it was a truly night/day reaction!
I guess some people really enjoy it. I am definitely not one of them.

Ah, I guess I'll be facing the same situation as you had. Thanks!
