I am a registered Nurse who wants to go abroad to work and of course to earn what nurses must deserve. However, I have a BF who is an OFW and actually we are about to get settled, so now I am terrified whether if I pursue my goal or find alternative jobs here in my place. Definitely I would always consider my BF , but I can't help not to think about achieving my dream and everybody's dream ( my family's dream too). I really don't know where to put myself, and because of this I have decided to stay and find whatever job whether medical related or not as long as there is money on it. :(

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well glad to know that u are strong headed and strong willed to achieve your dreams and i think if you BF really loves u then he should also support u to go ahead with your dreams. i think u should give your family more priority more than your BF, without their support u can never progress in your life, if their blessings are their with u then u can achieve every thing in your life. So first pursue your dreams and then think about your relationship.
What say?

Thank you for the comment. Now i feel so guilty of my decisions, I feel so selfish. There is no question about the love for my family, but I love my BF to bits, that I know he is the one and if I let go of him , I would rather be single forever. I hope I may be able to find job abroad and be with my boyfriend too. Is this too much to pray for?

God is good my friend. If He sees that it is for a good purpose He will grant it to you.
Ask for discernment from God, and he will enlighten you.

Hello SIMPLYD (9504) I am always praying to GOD for a good insight and enlightenment. I know it takes so much patience before I could understand its purpose. Honestly it's been a year since that this issue keeps bothering me and even experienced a lot of failures, but I can't still understand the purpose of everything. Good thing I am still having my faith in HIM. Hopefully everything will turn out well.

If you have your own dream, a dream you truly own and not your family, or somebody, then it is worth pursuing. There are many ways to make money and the degree we got in college is not a guarantee for financial success. It can help but the real thing is to truly have a business you can call your own, which you can leverage your time and effort. Having a job is just a temporary solution to a long term financial problem. Your choice is in your hands.

Thank you for the enlightenment. I would always consider what many of us believed , what truly makes us happy then go for it. However, it is not always the case because sometimes what makes us happy , is a big sacrifice to the other party. This is the time that we are making so hard decisions since we would always consider our significant others. Yeah! that's me, I don't have the guts to hurt others but sad to say eventually, I am causing the pain. What to do with this?
