Because of eagerness to learn sewing , I can't help not to think the expenses of enrolling myself to a formal school . Sounds so dear if I would take up a formal course just to learn this. They say it is a skill already , but for me if there is no formal training it would not be enhanced. So where on earth would I find a learning center? Is there such person who could just teach me for free these days? (impossible isn't it?).

Some alternatives that you might want to consider in pursuing education for fashion, designing, and apparel making is from online schools, there are online fashion schools that specializes in such programs and has affordable tuition for it the best thing is that you can learn from the comforts of your home and you can decide which time and schedule you want your lessons to fit in.
Another alternative is to have a tutor who is an expert in sewing, you can go to your local dress alter shop and talk to the alterationist or go to a dress shop and to talk to the seamstress ask him/her if he/she is available for as a tutor.
Another helpful and non-costly way is to buy educational materials related to the subject (books, sewing machines, materials) and learn by self-taught and if you are lost with what you are doing, you can always rely several tips and tricks over the internet even video tutorials on youtube would do. Good luck.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i am glad to know that u want to take up the course of sewing and i think it would be better to take a formal training so that u can get to know about the minute details about this amazing activity. i think to be very honest it is very difficult to find a trainer who will train for free and may be u can look out for those classes where u have to pay less and learn from them more. All the best!
What say?
