Well,i prefer Bollywood ones, romance, fun and a message, all are there in it,what i see is that Hollywood movies are far more technically sound and actors in it are highly professional,Bollywood mostly focus the problems of third world countries and Hollywood movies are a bit immaginative and out of this world, they want to show public some thing new and there fore they work hard to use new technologies in their movies,Their market is usually higher than Bollywood movies because of English language and power of their media!
What do you guys think?

I like Bollywood movies especially the ones with Shah Rukh Khan. The only thing I cannot stand about Bollywood movies is that they're just too long. I'm a very impatient person and I cannot sit for three hours watching a movie.

Sometimes the length is a good thing! When I was living in Afghanistan, we had a lot of lockdown days due to security. On those days, I would go to my neighbor's apartment and have a Bollywood marathon. It was also good when the electricity was out on my side of the apartment building!
When life is too stressful and you can't do what you would like to do, a three hour Bollywood movie is a great remedy! :)

The only Bollywood film that I have seen in my entire life is the Slumdog Millionaire and it was fine. I would really prefer watching Hollywood films as they star the stars that I have watched when I was growing up, until now. And they are excellent with movies that has special tricks and effects.

I am sorry to say it but Slumdog Millionaire is not a Bollywood movie. It was produced by Americans but many of the actors and actresses have appeared in Bollywood films. They also used some of the Bollywood styles, such as the dance sequence.
You should try some Bollywood movies, such as 3 Idiots or Lagaan. They're a lot of fun!

It actually depends on the story. I love hollywood since I can only understand english and I know the actors and actresses in hollywood unlike in bollywood that i barely know anybody. No one can bit hollywood in terms of technology since they are updated in those kind of movie effects but bollywood also makes excellent movie. Not in terms of technology but some movies do have nice plots and are well directed. I saw this film with the title, Elaan and I was so impressed by the story and how great the actors are. They may not have the great effects but the story is good and conveys a great message.

I prefer Bollywood movies, too because their stories are not that typical things that we usually saw in hollywood films. I mean, their films (Bollywood) are more realistic that's why I can say that a lot of people could relate to it. Hollywood films are undoubtedly great, but the thing is, we, as viewers, want something new.. something that is not too mainstream.. so yeah. Bollywood it is.

I watched Bollywood movies but I only choose the good ones referred by Indian friends.
What I do not like with Bollywood movies is there's too much music and dances that makes the movies too long to watch.
Thu I can say that music and dances are nice to watch but most of the time I skip those part.

I haven't watched many Bollywood movies, but I haven't particularly liked the ones I have seen. I wouldn't not watch anymore in the future, but I'm also not desperate to see any more either.

I don't know that Bollywood does a better job at focusing on third world problems than Hollywood does. Bollywood tends to focus on the lives of middle and upper class Indians, with only a few focusing on the problems of poor people. This might be because Bollywood tends to be more escapist. Hollywood has its fair share of middle and upper-class dramas, but there is a precedent for tackling social issues as well. Bollywood has people like Aamir Khan trying to focus on real issues, but Hollywood has a history of this.
I think that one of the strengths of Bollywood is showing more modest and traditional families. Not all of the new movies are following suit, but I know people all over the world who would rather watch Bollywood than Hollywood for this reason. They don't want to watch such sexually explicit movies with their families.
