We are moving into a new house and cannot find a decent way to pack. I mean other than just waiting until moving day and packing everything then. But is there a good method to the madness that is moving. I mean some things are easy to get packed summer clothes and camping gear that can all be packed being as it is winter now.

Have you tried to start with the room that you don't really use(storage) and move from there till you hit your clothes for next season etc. Packing itself is never an easy thing as there is so much to do and you can't pack too early as you also need many of the goodies in your house and kitchen etc. When exactly are you moving and good luck!

Thats what we have done. Like packed the food processor and crock pot which we don't use very often and the dvds and books we packed because even though we use them those are the hardest and most time consuming. Then I got my husband to put some of his music cords and all away. I just feel like I am not going to be prepared for moving day. I'd hate to get our friends here and have nothing for them to move because I was too stingy with my stuff and not packing things.
