Samsung Galaxy Y users
Hi all Mylotters and Samsung Galaxy users. I have bought Samsung Galaxy Y5360, I think, it? a very good phone and affordable as well. I love it. I have installed apps and games some of which are Ucbrowser, Opera Mini, Instagram, Angrybird, Avg antivirus etc.
I have downloaded Samsung Kies but I am not able to access my mobile even I am not able to connect my mobile to access my memory card on my pc I need to attach my phone through USB cable and then I need to restart my pc then I would be able to access my mobile memory card but if unplug it and plug it again it does shows anything except my mobile phone get charge.
Can you tell me why it is happening and importantly is there any solution for it? And Samsung Kies is also not getting connected?
And If I would be able to connect my mobile to my pc and able to use Samsung Kies then I don? know how to connect to net? I can see option of tethering in Samsung Kies but I cannot see any option in my mobile when I attach it pc. I used to have Nokia phone where I need to choose what I want to do I used to get three option media, storage and pc suite but here I am not getting any option like Samsung Kies? Do I need to install Samsung Kies application on my cell phone, if yes, then what about those mobiles which does not support Android or basic phones?
I want to use internet on my pc and that is why I need to connect my phone to Samsung Kies.
What about other applications and games which you think I should download and you would like to recommend? I would recommend Instagram which is a very good application for photo lovers. It have been downloaded 2 million times from Google play.
I want to use my Samsung Galaxy Y as my webcam. I know there can be way to do it. May be any application by installing that I could be able to use my cell phone as a webcam, why wouldn? you want it? If yes, then tell/help me? If no, then why (except you have webcam or laptop with webcam)?
and lastly is there any way to prolong battery life? may me any application or trick.
All suggestions and comments are welcome. I am using Samsung Galaxy Y, that is why relevant suggestions and comments would be helpful for me and Mylot community.

The best way to prolong battery life on any android device is to download an app called 'JuiceDefender'. It is a pretty complicated app if you want every bit of juice from your phone, but otherwise pretty simple to use.

I am also a user of this phone as well and I find the phone rather slow for me already. I think I have many apps to install but in the end I decide to uninstall it since the memory cannot accomodate them anymore. I think the processor is not suitable to this phone anymore. But overall I think the phone is quite average on their capability to accomodate bigger apps.
The battery I guess this is the problem with this phone as well. It could not last long especially if you are using wifi always. But I dowonloaded the go power management it is useful especially it automatically lowers down the brightness, ringtone and vibration once the battery reaches a certain level. But then you have to install the Go Launcher Ex which you can customize your phone to a more graphically intensive interface. I think that is the reason why my resources are exhausted since I love to tinker with Android apps.

I am using Galaxy Y, what about you?
my cell phone also get slow when I instal many apps and that is the reason I have uninstalled many apps. I am using an app which also slows down mobile because it closes the network of apps and other features of the phones. it minimizes the brightness as well. app I am using really helping me to prolong battery life.
Yes, memory is another problem because of the memory we need to compromise on the apps and the speed of mobile. the memory we desire or would like to have the more money we need to pay for it.
I think most of the smartphones consumes battery because of ita features and hardware. it is also dependa on us how we use our phone, if we use WiFi or GPS then obviously we would need morw battery.
I checked Go Power Management on the net I think it is not very popular app but Go Launcher Ex is very popular and 9,83,735 people have voted and I am going to check this app and if I feel I would install on my mobile as well.

iPhone is smarphone which every one would like to use or at least try specially those peiple who love to have latest gadgets and who are techy.
Iphone is much much better than Galaxy because I guess Galaxy is copy of iPhone and we all know original thing will be better than the copied. what do you think about it?

Nice to hear that you like latest gadgets and gizmos.
which latest gadget you would like to buy?
I gueas latest iPhone.
I too like latesr stuff but because of many reasons I can not have them or get them.
I try to avoid installing new apps because they are not trustworthy compare to old, reputed and popular once but I like to try new and trending apps and gadgets as well.

I do not use this phone but i am a Samsung customer and I find it to be a very good brand. My favorite actually. I had one phone for 7 years and never needed to replace the battery once. I dropped it about 1000 times, also dropped it in water and it still worked fine after it dried out.
My most recent upgrade was to the Rugby 2. I really have no interest in smartphones but when I decide to get one, it will surely be Samsung.
I also have an app you may enjoy so inbox me for the link. You can also earn money using this app by checking in at places. Anyone is welcome to message me for this link also.

I am using Samsung first time. I used Nokia phones which is also a very good brand and I like Nokia phones as well.
I searched about Rugby 2 which you have and I guess it is a very nice phone but I think its not available in market now but good thing is that it is a 3G phone. I do not know you have 3G network in your country or not?
you do not have smartphone then how do you know we can earn from apps?
