Do your cat eat grass?

when I was 13 years old I had a cute cat names pitung. I really love him until one day I began to hit him with broom every time I see him. I don't know why I did such bad thing to my cute cat. One day pitung gone and I did't saw him 2 weeks, but one day when I goes to school I found him right across the street. I saw something weird, he ate grass. I became confuse but that was really happen. When I came back, he still there, but he began to spew the grass. How about your cat? have you ever experienced something weird with your pets?

My cat chews grass when he is not feeling well, it's his way of relieving and comforting himself. Maybe your cat was stressed with the way you treated him, why did you hit him with a broom? poor cat :(
You mean he was out there on his own for 2 weeks?? He might be very hungry and stressed out :(

Yes, I really sorry about my habit when I was a young boy. Yes, maybe my cat stress and hungry and all comment said that pets indeed chews grass:)

I have 2 indoor cats so I am not sure if they eat grass or not, the dont go outside unless they escape.

I have heard that cats or dogs that eat grass have an upset stomach and they do that to settle it down some.
My son was really young when he did something along the same lines as you, with the broom to a cat I had and now that he's older he feels bad that he did that. He says the cat hissed at him and he got upset.

I had a mistake in past, I love cat very much and but I really don't know why I did it. Maybe just like experiment for young boys. Thank's for comment

Thank's for comment. I read all of the comment, and I think maybe all of cat really eat grass to help cat's digestion:)

Yeah my cat also eat a grass when she feel sick. That grass like a medicine for them.

Yeah, maybe eating grass good for their health. But I still wondering why carnivora animals eating grass?
