Having good grades on college doesn't really mean that you can earn higher than others. High scores will just help you to have a good job at least because you have a good grades but after that it's useless because in work you must deal with the true world not only memorizing and solving problems. So it is i guess base on your experience also.

Right! you really have the point. that is why most of the people even they are good but they are not given the chance to show what they can give.SAd but true.

experience is quite important in job, but here i have a question. if employers do not give us a chance, how we gain experience? that is reality.

Getting good grades in college gives you a higher potential to get a good job but i guess it does not automatically equates to earning higher. When you finish college, you enter another chapter of your life. So, you begin again and strive to get a higher pay.

I think nowadays employers look at the totality of the person. College grades are only a part of it. But still, having high grades can get you a higher salary than someone who did poor in college. There's usually a salary range for a certain position. A person who has little experience and an average set of grades in college usually is offered the minimum pay for that position. But if you have more experience and higher grades, employers might give you the maximum salary for that particular position.

Your performance in school will only form part of the whole thing that you need if you will be looking for a job. They employer would look into your personality, attitude, expertise and of course your educational attainment.
Just keep on going. Experience would be the best learning that you could have. But I would advice you, learn from others mistake if possible.
Have a nice day!

High scores means you have one of the qualifications to earn more money, but it does not mean that you will sure have high earning. The society is so complicate and achieve success need many elements, ability, connection, background, hard working and luck.
So pls keep on working hard, working hard does not mean you will be success but if you do not working hard then it is sure you can not make a big success.

Thanks for starting this discussion. For me, it really doesn't matter whether you have high grades or not. This is because high grades only affects the chances of getting accepted to a job or not. And the earning part comes after that, and it would be based on how you treat your job. And on how you do your job.

When I was studying, I don't usually get high scores.
I just want to have a passing grade and that's all.
So, in my transcript of records, most of my grades are the average ones.
I got high scores on Physical Education and nothing else.
The first time I got my job, of course, I have to start again from the bottom - minimum pay.
But then, I quit the job before I go to the next salary level.
Now, I'm on my second job, and it's still the same.
Actually, my course isn't that much related to my job now.
So, I just thought, I should have gotten the other course.
But now, I'm not satisfied here - with regards to the pay and career advancement.
So all in all, I can say that higher grades doesn't mean higher earnings.
It just depends on you - your strategy or attitude.
You know, most of the successful man before didn't have a decent schooling or grades.
Just do your best wherever you are in.

Hi friend, high scores don't mean high earnings, our earnings are based on our hard work, dedication, smartness as well as luck. Some talented students don't have luck to get a good opportunity, they are earning very low based on their job even though they have high scores. Our earnings are based on our hard work and luck. But there is nothing wrong in trying our maximum to get high scores, it will give confidence to us and we will gain knowledge with our hard work

Good scores , outstanding scholastic record does not mean a success in your endeavor that you choose , but it is a factor. There are many good , brilliant professionals around that have no job. What is the most important thing to have in order to compete in the real arena is to have that strong confidence , looking and feeling smart. Carry yourself well , speak with power but don't appear like humbug also. Have that fighting spirit , work now is a close fight competition , one must shine over the others. Credential are nothing if you don't know how to carry yourself and face people.

Regardless of the current ability of the person, I guess it is relatively true that if a person gets high scores, this person will also get a high earning job. Some companies take graduates with high scores in certain examinations taken or aptitude tests or grades, because they can use this person's profile to uplift the status of the company. You know the reputation of having employees in the top ranking examinations .. something to the effect

well for me, i have different scores some were high some were low. my parents always tell me that having good scores in college means good job and high pay but in my case i didn't really believe what my parents say, because i have tried to gather information from my friends who has jobs and ever since i was little my dad always reminds me that life is not as easy as it looks. during my college days i tried to learn different things other than the major i was studying. i tried to develop as different abilities co'z i believe that it will make me more flexible in the society.
try to use what you have learned in college use it.

In recent days college grades are only for the entrance in interviews but only talent plays a major role in getting a job and exploring great heights in it.So do develop you talent in your area of interest and you can achieve great heights in life.
Still you didn't make a mistake.Everyone is born with a specific talent so develop you skills and you can achieve great heights. You may struggle intially but if you work with sincerity you can really reach great heights in your life.
