Has anyone else noticed that? I don't know why they make such a big thing about Cyber Monday when the sales don't seem all that great.
I didn't go out for Black Friday, but I do know the sales are generally too hard to pass up! Actually, when I stopped at the store on Sunday I did look for some left over deals and managed to get a new release DVD for only $10.. so that was about 50% off!
So I just saw an ad for Target's Cyber Monday deals.. and thought I'd look and see if there was anything good. My hubby wanted to get the kids some pajamas, and Target said pj's were 30% off, so I took a look. They still want more than $10 a set for pj's.. where as Walmart had deals on pj's on Black Friday for like $5 a pair!
So.. is it just me, or is Cyber Monday not really all it's cracked up to be?

I did look online at some of the sales that your major stores had and it did look good for Black Friday. I wish that we had something like that out here. We do have a week where items are marked down but not like your Black Friday

Most years I do some Black Friday shopping, even if it's later in the day and I just pick through the leftovers. This year I worked all day and didn't get out for shopping at all till Sunday.

I did't participate in either one...so can't judge what is better or worse. I kinda wanted to go out on Black Friday but was babysitting for my granddaughter. She hadn't stayed her for a while and was totally caught up in playing with all her stuff she has here....I wanted to take her out for lunch and she says...grandma.....did you ever think maybe I just want to stay home today? LOL

I am not really paying attention to the sales, since I am in Canada, and a lot of the stuff doesn't apply up here anyway. Personall, I am not going to shop on a certain day just because of sales, I am going to shop when I want something. If there is something that I want, I am going to look for a place that sells it at a reasonable price, on a daily basis. If I have to wait for it to come down in price, it's not worthit.

I COMPLETELY agree! I am really not a big shopper and it ismade even worse by the fact that we are so tight on money all the time. Since my husband works retail he usually is working on Black Friday so we don't go out shopping. This year we did go out in the evening and it wasn't so bad. We found a few good deals but nothing I would have stood in line over night for. Yesterday I looked on the computer to see what the deals for Cyber Monday were and I didn't really see anything. The only place I found that was a decent sale was Disney Store.com....25 % off and it didn't hurt that I had a gift card with a nice amount on it. I really believe that unless you are shopping for large priced items then sales like this just aren't worth it.
