Sharing this facebook feed because this is important! I do hope your guys don't mind. This is a copy/ paste, everything that follows is Maxine's. Maxine Max Eigenmann: A close friend of mine just told a story that I would like to share to all parents. Her family friend, a mother, had to go to the toilet in Rockwell. She was with her 8 year old son who also needed to use the toilet. The boy insisted that he was too grown up to go with his mom in the ladies room and asked that he used the men's room instead. She waited a while for him to come out until finally she decided to go and call out his name through door of the men's room. No answer. She checked each cubicle. No little boy. She told the security regarding the matter and they locked down the entire mall. Finally they found her son in the parking lot, his head shaved, heavily drugged and his clothes were changed. What luck that the mall was locked down in time that whoever tried to take the boy didn't make it out with him in hand. Sadly, they did not catch whoever did this. But I am sharing this story because as I am a mother I want to prevent such things from happening. Please refrain from letting your young kids use the toilets by themselves or even just let them out of ur sight or at least with a Yaya. And PLEASE warn your Yaya's too. This happened only LAST SATURDAY. I'm hoping this helps prevent something like that to happen again.

Yes, come to think of it, Rockwell is class A. Really scary, isn't it, that mall surely is equipped with security cameras. The criminals had blended with the rich, if they are not psycho rich (pardon the term).

If there are mothers that read this. It might be very helpful to them, friend. Even if we are guarding our children that occasion still happen. Much better to take all the precautionary measure to prevent such things to happen... Our community today is very dangerous. The worse is that most of the criminals involve are teens and young children...

I still don't read the Pangilinan Law, and if bill sign into law. Under the juvenile acts those minor is still being held liable for the crimes they are committed even if they are punishable under the revise penal code but it's depend on the gravity of the crime where those minors are involved. As far as I know those minors under 17 years to 10 years old must be on the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. But if they are under 10 years they are being confine with their parents under the supervision of DSWD. If they are committed murdered and or homecide they are criminally liable and sentence to be in jail when they reach the age 18. If the crimes is not so grave as murdered or any grave offense punishable under the revise penal code. They are held under their parents and supervised by DSWD... Now, that the Pangilinan Law, is being known. Crimes committed by minors is rampant and they being used by syndicate because they know that those minors did not sued under such law. I don't know why Pangilinan, did not think about the consequences. It might be good if all the children is supervise well by their parents but syndicate used them to escape for the crimes?

aerous, the children have become criminals because under the Pangilinan Law, minors cannot be sued for the crimes the committed. That's why the juvenile crimes proliferated. I, of course, do not agree with that law. Anyways, parents must take all necessary precautions all the time. You are right.

Oh, thank you for sharing this. I guess they can do this entire Philippines. Maybe they are abducting children and sell their body organs. I don't know if that's true but in our province, such rumor is circulating. Young ladies and children are kidnapped and their organs will be sold. I hope our children are always safe. Let's not wait until they get kidnapped. You're we should not let them out of sight even for a minute. We should always accompany them at all times. Thank God, your friend is so lucky.

Oh, little children now are no longer safe. Always have an eye on your children. It's better if you'll not take them out nowadays. I guess they are all over the malls waiting for their chance to abduct helpless young children. Thanks for the comment.

I've heard story like this from my friend like last year. She told me to take good care of my one year old specially when we're at malls. This scared me really co's we didn't know who will victimized our kids, it might be just the person eating next to our table when we eat and listens to our conversations. I just hope that nothing like that happens again and never to my kids and yours and my friends kids as well.

So true, nothing really beats prayer. Prayer is our shield in everything not nice that comes our way, that is our password to heavenly miracles. Actually I have shared this story to some of my friends, co's one of my friend went mall-ing alone with her months old baby. While at the mall call of nature came and so she needed someone to look after her baby while inside the toilet co's there is no way of course she can do it holding the baby. Then outside the toilet she saw a couple of ladies and she begged them to watched her baby while she's inside and the ladies agreed but when she came out she was told not to do it again co's she might lost her baby forever. The realization of what she just did sink in and she was terrified. She thanked them for being good people and she learned her lesson. We were also grateful nothing bad happen to her baby.

This news is very shocking. Never though that such a thing could happen. One has to be very careful with the kids nowadays. They are not safe anywhere.

That is actually one good feature the Philippines can boast about: children playing on the grounds, fields, and even on the side streets. If parents are busy, the neighbor can keep watch, we only have to ask, and perhaps share a little viand or fruits later. Scary that we are threatened now, right in our malls we consider our big sari sari store.

Here in India too we trust our neighbours and very often keep a watch on each others children. But still in public places its difficult to trust strangers. One never knows how they are and what they will do to you.

This is very shocking and disturbing indeed. It could happen to anybody and who knows it already happened in a different area. The important thing is to be vigilant at all times. It is really hard to trust any one, any place nowadays. I am glad that you have shared this story so that we will know and be aware.

My son is getting to the age that he doesn't want to go into the bathroom with me, so I try to limit how many different bathroom visits that we make while we are in public places. However, when we do have to make bathroom visits in public, I will make sure that there is only one way into or out of the bathroom and I will stand right by the door the entire time that my children are in the bathroom so that I get them right back when they get out of the bathroom. It might not be something that takes away all of the danger, but it is something that does minimize danger.

That is a scary story. I have a ten year old daughter and on occasions I do let her go to the toilet at the mall on her own. After hearing your story, I don't think I will ever do that again. I'm glad the boy was found. Goodness, I will not know what I'd do if I ever lose my child.

Never let your daughter go alone in public toilets. Once, I saw a man dressed as a woman and went inside the ladies' room. I informed security, of course, but left the scene. I simply was in a hurry, otherwise, I would have confronted that man myself.

Oh my... this is really scary. I felt so weak after reading it. I also know of another incident wherein the boy was molested inside a public restroom. It is really so sick, and sad. It only made me even more protective of my daughter who has mild autism disorder. This is a scary world we live in.

That molestation you mentioned must be reported. Our public restrooms must be safe enough for children. Take good care of your special girl. She is your blessing.

I think that it was reported. It happened to a friend of my husband's friend. The sick pervert was never caught. The innocent boy left traumatized. Oh yes, eileen...I shall be watching my little angel like a hawk!

This is really a shocking incident. I hope all of the parents are already informed to this. Well, they don't have to be advised since they are already responsible in not taking their eyes off to their children. Thank you my friend. I will spread this incident and tell them what happened.

My goodness! This is the height of the evilness of men. Were they able to catch the culprits. They should be in jail by now. And thanksfor sharing eileen. Would you mind if I share your post at FB so my friends could be warned of this. I have friends and relatives who are too laxed with their children when they go to mall believing this is a safe place for their children. Now they should know that there is no safe place at all so they have to be vigilant.

Oh my this is every parent's nightmare!!! i really would go berserk if this happened to me.. but for a fact, i do not let my kid go to the comfort room alone in public areas as for my little guys, they still would go to the toilet with me - ladies...and if ever i guess in due time he will protest, i will let hubby and insist on it that he go with him until he is old enough to do it unharmed... i really hope nothing like this will happen again.

I wouldn't want to add to your fear, but I must say that the children are never too old to get to the men's room by themselves, because there are perverts, too, mostly among the men, who can take advantage of young boys. It happens in locker rooms, too. So, make it a standing rule, for your husband to always be with your boy, even when he is already old (both of them).

Go ahead, Raine, share, so the parents would be aware, and these kind of criminal acts could be prevented, and never be allowed to happen, NOT in the Philippines!, nor anywhere, so children can live free and grow free in a beautiful world. It is not too late to make this world a better place. Let the parents take that responsibility. It is theirs.

I love watching the children, how innocent they are. Someone said that fourteen angels guard each child, so the child could be safe. It only takes a parent to ask the angels to keep watch.

that is very horrible i can`t imagine my child in that situation.. for me as a parent it is a lesson though my child is still a baby but eventually he will grow old so it is very important to watched always your kid even when you are in the mall where you think no one can harm your child.. no place is safe now so i will keep that in my mind..

Good perspective, relieved that the boy was saved, and most definitely, because of a mother's instinct to worry about her boy, even in the mall seems safe enough.
