I decided to set some goals until January!

I've seen that many people here set goals about their online earnings. I tend to be more relaxed, and when I set a goal it's usually for a couple of days or maybe up to a week later! I decided to plan my long term online earnings and set my goal after Christmas, or else I might spend them all for gifts! I made my personal plan concerning mylot and two other sites. Now that my writing inspiration goes better, I will write every day instead of twice a week. I want to see how good I can go! About mylot, I am happy with my current performance and I want to keep it steady! What's your long term goal for your online earnings?

That's a great goal! You must work hard to get a plane ticket though! Plane tickets are expensive and it would take me years to gather money for an international destination if my only source was mylot. Domestic flights are much cheaper and you might be able to get one in a few months!

I set an online earning goal every month at 100.00. Sometimes I make it. Many times I get to around 75.00. At least the goal helps me push myself a little more. Have a great day here.

I don't set an overall goal every month, it's more like individual goals at each site and hopefully I my final mount will be good. That's a realistic goal for 100 that needs a lot of work as well! I used to go a bit higher when I had fiverr but after the last updates I had only 1 order soI am trying to fill this gap with something else! Now I am around 70 from November but I want to think about it as a long term goal until January so I have one more month in front of me! Good luck with your personal goals!

I feel glad that you have set some goals in terms of your online earning. I'm positive that you will attain that. I think I will do the same too, concentrate more in mylot. I was not able to visit the site for several months and I think I have so much to share since I was not able to share my thoughts for the said time. Goodluck to us and see you around :)

If you don't know where you're going, any road will lead you to your destination. That is why we need to have goals. So that we will know in which direction we're going and we can measure our success. Without goals, we'll be like a ship sailing without a compass. I'm glad that you've realized that you need to set goals. But don't make the goals unreachable such that it will put you under so much stress. Set achievable and measurable goals. Like for example, aim to make 10 posts each day on myLot and if you can achieve that every day for a week, increase the number of posts. This is what I do. And don't beat yourself up too much if you can't reach your daily goals.

I like long tetm goals more that the daily ones because I get stressed as you said. So I do my best and evaluate myself at the end of the week or the month, or even longer. This goal is until January so I am not getting stressed with my daily earnings! I am trying to write every day here and at a writing site, and if I don't manage to do that one day, I will try more when I have time without stressing out! Thanks for your great advice, it's really very important to set achievable goals!

I agree in your resolve to set targets in your earnings. It is one way of motivating yourself to do better and improve yourself. Like you, I have also set some goals for myself not just for online earnings but for my life in general. These long term goals, in turn, I break down into smaller, short term ones. For me it is manageable this way and it would be seem not too "long term" at all, if you dig what I mean. But then, we all have our own different ways of motivating ourselves to meet our set goals.

Hmm.. My thinking was that I would have individual but long-term goals for each online earning site. So I decided to break them down in smaller parts because the monthly planning doesn't work so well for me. I achieve my monthly goals and then I spend some of them but after that it's not too much in my account so I don't save as I should. In my mind, a bigger amount is worth transferring from paypal more than individual smaller amounts every month because of the fee in my bank. But if it stays in paypal I'll use part of it for a purchase ince it will be directly available.

I really would encourage you to set yourself some goals as this will help motivate you greatly. My goal is to stop using online income as my offline income is really starting to pick up nicely. Make sure you don't burn yourself out though either so everything in moderation.

I will be determined and I want to try hard for a month! I won't push myself on writing, I 've made a list of what I want to write about an I think I will be very interested! I made the same mistak e as you in the past, I saved for a while and once I tranferred the money from paypal I spent them all. They helped me at the moment but they were my extra savings and I want to keep them for the future.

Yes, It is nice to have an a goal in every work you are doing. It motivates you to make yourself better next time. Not just in mylot in everything. make it sure that you are setting a goal. I consider it as a target.. so I just don't like to hit on the side of the target but on the bullseye. LOL, sometimes it is frustrating though if you won't be able to reach what you want to achieve no matter how hard you just tried. but hey, it doesn't end there. they say: Success is the recycled failure. so why not.

I don't really have a goal related to earning online because from what I know, earning through like this site is just a way to earn additional earnings so I'm not thinking of getting rich with this. But still I hope that I still get big earnings here so I try my best to visit mylot everyday. :)

I am planning to add up to my savings and have some money available to start something new. I hope that my goal is achievable and I want to see how well it can go if I work every day until the end of 2012!
