Decluttering my house

It was weird for me...we moved so often..a nd I had to toss so much all the time! But I always tried to save as I knew if this one broke I couldn't afford to buy another one, so I'd save the one I was replacing! Stupid, but I did it. I was in a four bedrom house and had to move to a 2 bedroom apt...didn'dt need that big house anymore...I had 3 yard sales the last summer there...then the next summer I had one...and after that sent 3 pickup truck beds full to my church until I found out that they were't going to have a rummage sale, they were just hauling it all down to Mexico! I am not supporting that country, I support my country USA...so I called the Disabled Vets ...they came and got it and then they resell and the profit goes to help disable vets...I called them 3 times that same summer! I was surprised how much I had. And more than that.. I was surprised and how much I had that I didn't need, seldom used or just had no use for! We moved into the 2 bedroom apt, and two years later moved again when they raised rent to high, and I called the vets out TWICE then and even sold a few larger items in the freebie newspaper! I moved to another 2bdrom...for 2 years and when I bought this house...I didn't call anyone... I needed and used everything I had and was still able to get it moved with a smaller moving truck! Now in this big house...I have so much space available! And I dont' want to fill it! I like having space and no clutter!

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i am glad to hear that u are decluttering your house and i am sure u must be enjoying very much while doing the same. I think this is a very good forum to talk and approach to all those persons who are interested in this kind of activity. I think u should continue doing this thing and get connected with many such people who love decorating their house and adding some life to it. What say?
