How do men define beauty?

We have a research study at school and my group chose that topic. And also I am curious about this thing, so I want to know the possible answers to that question since our study haven't started yet.
So what is beautiful to a man or a guy?

We all have our own thought of beauty. Regardless of gender, but in the context of manhood, beauty really depends on how a man is perceived or defining beauty.
It depends on the characteristics of a man on his beliefs, customs, and tradition. Be it physical of personality aspects of a female. Usually men define beauty in terms of what they see in media how women are perceived in media (skinny, all perfect and dolled up) but for some, they pretty much have their own understanding of beauty in terms of its culture differences, societal ideals and aesthetic concepts. (what's beautiful for some cultures may not be well defined as beauty on others).

We all have different ideals of aesthetic regardless of race and cultural. however, yes. looking up to other cultures as a model of beautification does somehow make up one's beliefs of beauty.

Yes. Like in the Philippines, a beautiful woman is described as skinny, tall, and white and fair skin. But in America, beautiful woman is a woman who has a brown complexion, which is so different from here in the Philippines. For us, those are common, but in other countries, they'd love to have that. So it's kind of like a vice versa between those two countries.

Well, I'm not a guy. 
But I want to answer your question from a woman's perspective. 
Beauty can be measured in many ways. Some are based physically and others from their behavior. I believe that a woman who has a pretty face cannot be called beautiful if she has an unlikable trait or attitude. But a woman with not so pretty face but with kind heart can still be called beautiful on the inside.
For me, it's better to be beautiful on the inside but it's much better if both. 
But I want to answer your question from a woman's perspective.

I think most of the guys now prefer the outside beauty just for flings.
In the end, they will understand that what matters most is the inside beauty of every person - not only to women.

Since this is the research study question then I have to answer it correctly, but my friend being lady it will be difficult to answer the same. But what I feel - for most of the men beauty in the lady is her general look or for some her hair or body shape etc and to very few it her talent and behavior plus her sharing, caring attitude that makes lady beautiful. (This is what I have read in one paper some time back)

i asked that already with my boy friends,and they always choose a simple girl,meaning a girl that will never put heavy make ups and wear many accessories in her body,so most of the men wanted it as one of the traits of the girl.and for me its also right.

Ok.. fine i will answer this for you bali, since you are interested to know my views. I think men, the likes of Angelina Jolie, a body of Oh lalala, with the pouting lips (that looks like who wanted to be kissed at all times) and a heart to do some charity and having been the UN Goodwill Ambassador. That is if he looks like Brad Pitt.
Anyway, my man says, he likes me more when I express my thoughts and feelings. When I share what I have in mind, when I make him laugh over silly jokes or even with silly questions. That's he saw beauty in me. I got mad.. whaaaaaaaaaat... are you telling me I am not physically beautiful???? grrrrrrrr... so what do you think Bali?

Meaning of beauty changes from person to person . It does not have a similar meaning for every person . Some guys think that beauty is the type of body which a person have . But for me the beauty of a person depends on the type of talking of a person . How he/ she live, how he/she talks ,etc .

I am not a man so I cannot answer directly to your question.
Based from my own opinion, every man has their own standards when it comes to beauty.
Beauty is not all about physical looks but also inner personality.
Therefore, it depends on what criteria does he wants to concentrate more.

Well, I am interested in your topic. At first , I don't know the answer, and I also want to know , as I am a female. So just now I searched the internet, and I agree the opinions below:
First, the woman must be kind, as the appearance can change with the time passes by, but kindness will last forever, it benefits the man in a whole life, so it's very important that woman must be kind.
Second, the woman must be confident. Man and woman are equal, if a woman is not confident, it's difficult for a man to love her.
Third, She must be not dependent.
Fourth, she must be knowlegeable.
At last, if she has the quality of the above , she had better look beautiful at the same time. It's not the most important factor but ...
