Have you ever been asked to move over one seat so she can sit down?

I used to sit on the side of the bench closest to the door of the jeepney for my convenience. I do it most often to easily go out of the jeep whenever I want to, of course at the right stopping point. But whenever somebody comes and asks me, "can you move over? My destination is just a few blocks away from here?", I tend to become annoyed knowing that I came in much earlier than he did so I really had the chance of choosing where I want to sit down. How will you react to it if this happens to you?

It is annoying and there's so much more.. Have you tried sitting down with one butt and the other half is hanging? oh my gosh, after going down down the jeepney my legs were shaking. Another incident was hanging at the door, and I am a woman!!! That was so embarrassing.

Yes, it has happened to me on the bus. I just say that my stop is the next one or the one after and I get up to give the inside seat. They always agree because it will be inconvenient later to ask them to get up for me in order to go out. It's kind of annoying indeed but I'm used to it and I don't think about it!

Back in high school, I often encountered people who ask me to move over. And it is somewhat annoying especially since the person could've asked the other one seated across me. Like you said, I boarded first, and I get to choose where I want to sit. Besides, we're paying the same fare so they shouldn't ask people to move over just for their own convenience. But I don't think I showed them how annoyed I was. I usually say that I'm also going down in a few blocks or so.
