This day Tuesday, November 27, 2012 here in the Philippines. I gave talked with the catechist in the Diocese of Surigao this the afternoon from 2:30 - 4:00PM. I did all with the best of my ability to explain everything in our dialect with presentations of my research and reflections. During the break many of the participants came to me to congratulate me for the best presentation and presentation. I was flattered by this remarks. Until the director came to me and gave to me his not so good remarks in a harsh and loud voice. I was disgusted by this gesture because he doesn't show respect to me. He can call and talk to me privately in a mellow voice and suggest to me what he wants. His comments was very simple, I supposed to present everything in vernacular, that's all. Should he threw harsh voice to me in the public? Is that a professional way of giving comments? How about you, have you experience the same situation of mine?

Yes, I think it was unprofessional on the part of that director. Criticizing someone's work, or for this matter, your presentation, should've been done in a professional manner, and in this case, discretely if possible. Although I haven't experienced this, I know of people who have. And they also felt bad about it.
