I wanna learn to speak different languages. It is one thing that I like to do and it is one of the reason that's why I keep on socializing thru net. I want to be a person who can speak spanish, french, deutsch, nihongo, mandarin, korean, arabic, and so on and so far aside from english and filipino. (sigh) hope I will find some sites that can give me an idea...

I believe that if you truly have the highest level of desire to be a linguist, you will become one. You need the tools to be able to learn those different languages. In acquiring those tools, you need money. Money is not the most important in life, but it affects the most important things in life - like learning different languages. I admire you for having such a vision. However, I would like to know "what for?" If you have learned those languages, what do you intend to do with it? It's a heart-searching question, but it's something we need to ask so we come to know what is truly that we want.

Wow, you really want to learn a lot of languages! That's going to take a lot of time. And it's very hard to fully master a language after the age of 18. I myself speak 5 languages, but I don't speak all of them fluently. I know Dutch, English, Spanish, French and German.

Wow, that's cool! I have almost forgotten this discussion but I am glad to read the responses. I really love to learn other languages even just the conversational words only so I can use it to my stories.

Hi friend, i too am in search of such site, but thee best way to be fluent is to talk to the natives of these languages but that too is risky i think i've seen a site that allows people from different countries to interact i cant remember the name of it. good luck with your learning. All the best

I've seen on t.v. about learning different languages by Rosetta Stone, you might check into that.
