Are there any other adoptees out there that have negative experiences with finding and meeting their birth parents? I met my birth mother and she told me things that I would never tell anyone, let alone my biological child! I have yet to have her tell me who my birth father is. The story keeps changing as to why she won't or can't tell me. How am I supposed to feel about this woman? I always felt the people who raised me were my parents and I was never interested in locating my biological parents but because of some health problems my Mother thought it was a good idea for me to know more history so I was pushed into it.

I knew one who regretted knowing her biological parents.
She is very thankful of her adopted parents, thu is happy to met her real parents in person.
That was the first and last meeting she had with her biological parents.
