Apparently the Curiosity Mars Rover found "Earthshaking" on Mars. Earthshaking, meaning they found something for the history books. Scientist are trying to create a lot of buzz before this discovery is announced, but NASA itself is trying to keep the tone down. From what I understand, the results of some testing done on the ground composition of Mars may have turned up something important. It's probably no big deal if NASA is trying to down play it. A lot of people will be disappointed if the "big!" discovery is simply organic molecules or traces of methane found in the dirt. If the discovery is too hyped-up, then people will lose interest in the actual results and discovery. Then people won't really pay attention when NASA scientist do find something history making. What do you think Curiosity found that is so awesome?
