I love crafting. I really love making jewelry. There are so many different ways to do that. You can use old water bottles, fabrics, strings, anything you can find you can make something out of. What are your favorite crafts?

I've been into making jewelry, I especially like bead weaving, for nearly 10 years. I get a lot of pleasure out of it. I'm currently working on a new pattern for a necklace, this is my "prototype" and I'm planning on giving it to my sister for Christmas.

I have always wanted to try bead weaving! It seems like a lot of fun. I will try it sometime once I get something to do it with.

Really? I thought you needed a little loom. That's what I've seen. I'll have to see if I can figure it out without one!

Ive done so many crafts.. I used to say.. "if it was done with a needle, I did it" but that didn't sound to nice so I quickly stopped saying that! But I did do most crafts that included a needle as the tool of construction! But jewelry is one thing that I never had the incling to do! To tedious and tiny stuff I guess. Drawing and painting...again..never had the erge..however for painting.. I did paint ceramic things..christmas houses, large decorative pieces (like a life size collie dog!) and things like that but that was as far as my painting went!

I love crafts...back in the day more than now. I did all kinds of crafts out of lot of things. I made all handmade christmas ornaments one year..with just stuff from my craft "supplies" and things I collected in the craft area throughout the year. I sew, crochet, needlepoint, embroidery, crewel, and made everything from dresses to curtains and everything in between! At least back in the day I did all that. Now.. I quilt. I got into scrapbooking for about 10 years and was hot and heavy into that, but then had a health problem that just kind of erase my "craft nerve/gene" as I couldn't stand any craft! but a year ago when my grand daughter asked me to make her a princess dress... I asked her why she needed a princess dress. She said because she is daddy's princess, and how can she be daddy's princess if she doesn't have a princess dress? Broke my heart, and gave me joy at the same time.. I made her a princess dress...and then went right into quilting and haven't stopped.

I quilted MANY years ago but it was just applique a design on the block and then sew them together. I loved that, but stopped. And now.. I am learning all the designs to make with squares...literally the possibilities are endless...a HST (Half square triangle) turned different ways...makes amazing things! I have learned alot this year..and so much more to learn and have fun with. You should give it a try!

I would love to try, but first I have to find the cord for my sewing machine because it went missing.

My absolute favorite craft is my digital scrapbooking because of the fact that I am able to combine two of the things that I love the most in order to be able to make these crafts. I can combine my love of creating with my love of writing. I seldom create a page that doesn't have a lot of journaling on it since I love to write as well. However, when it comes to a craft that I like to make that I do because it relaxes me, it is crochet. I learned to crochet from my mother and I really do love making blankets for friends and family members that have new babies.

I used to crochet but I haven't in a really long time. I think I forgot how to. When I find my hook I think I will try to do it again(:

I really want to take on DIY. I wanna make jewellery, and also sock monkeys... I know, it's random. But my biggest dream is to scrapbook. I'm going to make a scrapbook for my boyfriend for our first anniversary. I hope it turns out nice, as i've never done any scrapping...

I love scrapbooking! It is a ton of fun. I made my best friend a scrapbook for her birthday last year and she loved it. Don't be too worried about it not turning out nice, I'm sure you will get the hang of it really quickly.

I do modular Origami and money Origami. Years ago I made all the decorations on my Christmas tree out of all kinds of things. Now I just do Origami. For Christmas tree ornaments and package decorations I use foil paper, one and two-sided. I don't know anybody else that does it. There aren't many links on the internet for the kind of Origami pieces I make. You have to buy the books, which I have a ton of. But here are 2 links with some of the things I've made www.origami-make.com/howto-origami-modular.php In this picture I've made the ones in the middle, the 5 & 6 module ones. And http://nrich.maths.org/6806 In this one I made everything but the bottom one, the ring. I mostly use foil paper for mine. Or iridescent paper. I think it's prettier. I don't make animals. I only do geometric figures. With dollar bills I make shirts, pants, little boxes, stars, etc. The money ones are fun to leave as tips in restaurants. The waitresses are always happy to get them.

I have made lots of boxes, too. They're really cute. But I figured out how to make them stronger. The square ones. After I fold the box I unfold it again and measure the bottom and the four sides. Then I take thin cardboard, a little thicker than a manila folder, and cut out the pieces about 1/8" smaller than the bottom and sides. Then just use a little piece of double stick tape to stick the pieces to the paper and fold it back again. It makes the boxes so sturdy. Did you ever make Origami envelopes? They're fun to make. Here's some links, in case you haven't seen them. www.wikihow.com/Fold-an-Origami-Envelope www.origami-make.com/howto-origami-envelope.php Those have directions for 3 different kinds of envelopes. And here's a cute wreath that I use for package decorations http://domesticali.typepad.com/domesticali/2008/11/origami-wreath-tutorial.html And here's a link for the $1 bill shirt. www.origamitube.com/play.php?vid=87 If you want to know anything about Origami just come back here and ask. I can locate the sites pretty fast because I know which sites to look for. Or you can have fun looking at all the different stuff on the net. There's a lot of it. I can give you tips, too, if you need help. I just love Origami and working with the paper. It's more resilient than you might think. Hope you enjoy these.

That is really cool! I have a bunch of origami paper but I never used it because it came with a book of all animal patterns and I was never good at those. I have made tons of boxes for different things. I put gifts in them when I have little gifts for people. I would like to try making little money origami for tips though, that would be really nice.

I have done envelopes before. That wreath is absolutely adorable and I am definitely going to make that for my band director for Christmas because the sheet music reminded me of her! I am also going to try and make those little shirts because that is too cute!

Well my favorite craft to make are polymer clay stuff. I have so much fun making these and I also get some extra income out of it. I sell my crafts online. I also love crocheted things and this is also part of my small business. Besides enjoying arts and crafts and releasing my creativity to the world, I also get a lot of benefits out of it.

I have learned the string dolls and make money from it. It was my son who introduce me this string doll and caught my attention. Since then I search youtube and luckily I found link and videos all about string doll tutorials. That helps me a lot to improve my string doll.

I also like crafting although I don't do that any more! I used to craft decorative stuff when I was young like framed mirrors etc. I was thinking the design an then I was trying to find the materials. They were all personal stuff though, I didn't make any profit from them! That is a great hobby, you can express your creativity through crafting!

I think that once you get into it, the possibilities are endless. I love to paintings, collages and ACEO's. I also love to sew for 11 inch fashion dolls: those of the Barbie Size.

I like crafts too. I did some notebooks and storage boxes out of cloth linen and decorated them with some crafts. They turned out good and some of them I sold already. This was my hobby before. :-) Have a nice day!
