Co - worker birthday, we give them a party at work

A co - worker is birthday today, actually we are not so sure, since another co - worker kind of remember that is his birthday either yesterday or today. Anyway, a female co - worker made a cake for him, it was tiramisu, Italian style, and it was a pretty good cake for our department and another department too. I did sing the birthday song, but not so loud, because other department might be working, and we don't want to disturb anybody. It was a short, brief party, and some gift we all chip in the money for him. It was a nice touch, and we all taste a good cake for breakfast.

hi, it usually happen at work and in the office,because every time that my co-worker birthday we usually contribute for a small party and food in the office,that is really funny and enjoy especially for the person who celebrating her/his birthday.

Thats very good. Hope the party was very good and that cake for breakfast was very yummy. At my hubby's work when it is someone's birthday they take donuts into work for everyone ot eat. Its nice when at work you do something for other peple's birthdays

That was nice of your group to remember someone at work their birthdays. Many offices or department does not do that anymore. I think your group must have bonded well that is why you can easily do some effort to please each other there.

I really admire our HR because she is the one who plan for everything when somebody has a birthday in our office. She always buy a cake. Wow. And that is at her own expense! We really are having fun every time we all taste for the cake!

Wow! very touching! you are very thoughtful on making such things to a co-worker. In our office, if there is a birthday celebrant,we usually make birthday card for him/her, We'll make a collage picture of her then at the back we will put our personal messages.IT's so nice that during your birthday everyone wants to make you special in any ways.

What a great gesture to celebrate your co-workers birthday. I'm sure your co-worker appreciated everyone acknowledging their birthday, so few birthdays are celebrated at work these days. Anyways, sounds like it was a nice little celebration and everyone had fun and some great tasting birthday cake.

Wow, that's such a nice thing to do for someone on his birthday, especially at work. It might just be a brief party but I'm sure your co-worker appreciated the gesture.
