father passed away

It has been 21 years since my father passed away. I still cry when I see his picture or hear his voice on old home movies. I think your love for your father speaks a thousand words for the type of person he was. I had a special bond with my "Daddy". I have never had that bond with another man in my life. I love my husband but not in the same way.

My dad passed away 6 years ago. I was 1 year old when him and my mom seperated. After that we have lived on oposite sides of the world. We didnt have much conection until i was 17-18. It is a very long story so i cut it short. I only met my dad twice, 8 days together. I didnt know him but i miss him alot.

My dad passed away three years and three months, on the same day of the month, after my Mother. They were married for 51 years. I don't think my Dad wanted to really continue to live without my Mom. He put up a good front and continued to support his family, but I think he really was very lonely without Mom. I miss them both. They were very supportive and loving parents. I treasure the memories.
