some employees can really make you lose your cool

Our architect suddenly blew her top, to the report of the security guard .
Here in our office , printers and inks will be under your care if they are in your department. Every department has their own printers charged to them.
Thus, when the guard reported that after she and her staff left at dismissal, the staff of another department, took her printer and carried it to his place to print her designs, she blew her top and reported to HR. Now, the staff has a memorandum to warn him.
And I must agree, that I would feel angry too if done the same way.

Hi,
You are right. Some employees are very annoying. They work as per their will. The employee should shown courtesy to ask or tell you or other employees about taking printer. He has no right to take anything from other department. Permission should be taken by him. His behavior is really irritating to lose your coolness.

Yes, everyone should respect one another's equipments at the office. Each equipment is assigned to an employee, thus its that employee's responsibility should somethin happened to it.
That employee when he did that, he seemed to hide it from the responsible employee. One can't help thinking that maybe should it was damaged while he was using it, he will deny it, because he used it sneakily.

I honestly find it offensive. I agree, every office have their own equipment and it is under their care. On their accounts whether stolen, damage or what.
If it was on good intention, the staff who used it should have asked permission earlier. But since he took it when they all left, he must really have no intention of letting them no.
In our office, though we have different equipment assigned, whenever other departments would borrow we allow because in the first place, these ALL BELONGED to our office. Just that, the permission since required because it's accountable for different people.
A lesson learned for him.

That's totally true my friend. He has to ask permission . Just because he did it while everyone was gone, he has nos intention indeed of asking permission.
He could at least sent a message through phone to the architect to whom it was assigned.

That was sneaky of the other employee. If he needed to print something, he should have asked. Hopefully if it was work related, he would be able to do it.

Yes, it was indeed sneaky of him. He really intend to do that since he has been prohibited to use the printer already because he has been excessively using it without asking permission.
Now he got a memorandum for doing that.

That was very good of you sir, that you have handled them tactfully. And yes, sometimes we have to be strict and give them the due penalty, according to the company's policy.

of course yes,i think that everyone would also feel the same way, because its really annoying and pissed you off when other people or department use your things without any notice, because those things are all in your care and anything will happen to that will surely charge to you.

Indeed that would be what we will feel if someone used the things in the office that are under your name, without your permission.
At least if they asked permission and you saw them did a damage , they can't deny that they are to be responsible for it.

That really happens in all workplace. Since we are working with different people with different personalities, it is hard to maintain our cool. This is understandable. But we also have to make sure that we should also take control of whatever emotions we are facing so not to complicate the situation even more.

Yes, that's true. But because the architect have been experiencing that from our gay co-employee, i think she had enough of such attitude.
If i were on her place i would certainly be as pissed.

There are really people who doesn't care towards the feelings of others. They are just thinking of themselves and how they can take advantage with other people.

Doing that is considered dishonesty on his part. Why didn't he asked for permission before everybody goes home?
It's wrong to sneak on things, that he has to keep in mind.

You are right some employee also hot tempered and some time argue with boss or other employees. While I was working in a company there also separate printer for department but if needs then move here and there.

He did that because he has been prohibited from using the printer, because he sometimes prints some not important things. And he doesn't use the draft style of printing but the high quality one! Such a nerve of a person!

Well asking permission is really important so the owner wont be take for granted. Permission is really important so the owner will not have hard time finding things. It will pissed me off if that happened to me too.

And sana he could have at least sent a text to ask permission. But he knows that he is being prohibited from using it already, because he is using it excessively, that even it could be in draft form, he still prints in bolder text!
So this time he sneaked on the department, little did he know that the guard logged the incident.

I agree with you that some employees can make you lose your cool. Some just do not appreciate everything that you do for them. I feel that a lot take advantage of you and your hard work. Most of the time you do not get credited for your hard work. I also cannot stand working with others who do not want to work together as a team to get task completed.

Much more if they just get some equipments without even asking for your permission, even if they know that if something happened to it, it will be charged to the department to which it was issued.
