Spending overnight at terminal 2 kota kinabalu is a new experience. i was so terrified that actually have asked the staff working at airport" can we possible sleep at airport" this is really not a tough question.. "Yes" replied. relieved.! this is a low-cost airport terminal . it does not provide cold-enough air-condition. sometimes felt soffocating. there was one of a unusual night, witnessing two co-worker of Airasia arguing. assuming they were a flight attendent. they were fighting over money..the women said you own me and slapped the guy.. the guy just ignore and both were exchanging words. they women seem fierce and using violent and word abusing the guy. Looking around, there were 3 people waiting with me until sunrise.. lucky i got my laptop and operable plug enable me to stay on mylot. anyone wanted to share spending overnight at airport?

several times i slept in terminals of Narita (Tokyo), Changgi (Singapore), Hatta (Indonesia), LAX (Los Angeles), and Weeze (Germany). I slept in these airports because i was waiting for my next flight. the best stay was at changgi in singapore because it has several reclining seats inside the airport where people can actually sleep comfortably.

Oh I hated that so much! Every year I have to flight to Germany to visit my family Twice I had to stay on the airport over night One time because of a storm And the other time cause my plain was late and I couldn't get the connecting flight That night I had trouble with a guy looking like a Christmas tree all over with gold rings and big golden neck less Anyway he offered me to go and stay with him in his Van till my next flight goes Well we got in a fight but I was lucky that two security men came and showed him where the exit was

Haven't experienced this on airport but on bus station. I check the security first sleeping comfortably- but not alone. I mean...I don't think I can sleep if I am alone. I am with other family members and we take turn to sleep while waiting for our departure.

We actually had a case like that in my country's airport... it was a night flight, and it was like 3-4-5 hours delayed. Most people slept. I just couldn't sleep there, because I can rarely sleep in anything other than a bd, unfortunately, because I was really woozy and tired, but I just couldn't sleep... it was soooo bad.

Well I haven’t slept in the airport, mainly because I can’t sleep in crowded places. If you ask me, our local airport in my country is quite crowded resulting that no one could ever feel relax or fall asleep because everybody is buzzing around.

I have never slept at an airport yet myself. It's too bad about the poor air conditioning and staff arguments. Good thing you had the plugin and wifi. Maybe make a point of packing a personal fan, extra batteries, web USB stick, and Bose headphones in the future.

We once stayed overnight at the Glasgow airport as out flight was very early in the morning and there didn't seem to be any point to getting a hotel room. It was uncomfortable as we had to sit on the ground and messages came over the loudspeaker every 15 minutes. A lot of people were there, though, so it wasn't lonely.

Hi rotloi2, I don't feel comfortable and safe to sleep at airport. Few days back my friends and I were waiting at Sydney International Airport. It's early in the morning and we had our box of breadfast sitting on the bench. Two women were sleeping soundly on the long bench opposite of us. Whereas two of their friends were busy on their respective smartphones. If one could have proper sleep at the airport we would get refreshed and be energetic again before boarding the flight. Very much better than wasting the time sitting idling there for a long time I suppose Since I could fall asleep while riding on the plane I prefer surfing net there. I really enjoyed the fast speed free wifi of the airport Happy posting

I guess that I have to consider myself to be lucky that I've never had to spend the night in an airport. I do have a similar memory of my little brother falling asleep at a train station in Switzerland. We had taken an overnight flight from the US to Zurich and while we were in Zurich we had a twelve hour layover. So, to pass the time, we decided to go visit some of the local scenery. We spent about four hours visiting and then we went to the train station to go to another area and while waiting on the train, he fell asleep in the station. We all joked around about getting a cup and putting it in his hand to see if he would be able to get money in his sleep.

I experienced staying overnight at the airport when we met our cousin from California. We stayed there only at about midnight until 6:00 when our cousin arrived. I could not sleep. That was one experience I could not forget.

I don't think I'll be able to sleep at the airport. Just imagine the cramped seats, the noise and all those people. I think I would rather just read or wait no matter what. Who knows, somebody might even steal my stuff while I'm dozing off. When worse comes to worst and I really have to catch some sleep, I guess I'll see if they have some lounge areas where I can nap in private for awhile, even for a fee. As long as there's a lock on the door and I wouldn't be smacked in the middle of the comings and goings of other passengers.

Yes I do that and on the plane as well. When it comes to my beauty sleepy I can have it anywhere. Traveling is very tiring but at the same time it's worth it.
