The price of Apple computer is twice as much as others, is it worth it?

Apple products are over-priced despite the fact that all the manufacturing of their products are outsourced to a third world country where the labor cost is below the minimum wage. The savings that they make do not translate to savings by the consumers. They're just much more concerned about fattening their own wallets rather than helping consumers save money. I really don't know what's the fascination with Apple products. I guess it must be that they're so exclusive. You see Windows platform everywhere on every computer brands so it's not so exclusive. But Apple operating system is only unique for Apple products. I personally wouldn't buy an Apple computer if I can get something cheaper. Why waste money when you can get the same functionality at a much lower price?

Apple products are the best in the market. The only problem is that they are quite expensive. But if you can afford one, I surely would recommend them. After having myself and iPhone as well as an iPad, I have not used any other devices. I find them great and wonderful. But as to the price, they are really high and very discouraging.

Yes, absolutely worth it. For those people who are highly driven with passion, competitiveness. People who like to go out with any risks they can afford because they believe what they can do and trust to what they are going to use to achieve their personal goal to success and growth. If you are one of the people who can't buy anything because they are expensive, and can't do anything or something. Apple computers are not for you. But, don’t ever let somebody tell you, you can’t do something. Not even me. You got a dream? You gotta protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they want to tell you you can’t do it. You want something? Go get it! Forbes statistics said that most successful people, persons or personalities using Apple computers than any brand of computers. Trust is a very important, and expensive product of Apple, Inc. included on every purchases of Apple computers.

yes is true apple products are overprices and in amny cases they wouldn't enable better features than other brands so i never considered to buy one from this brand because it sounds not a big deal as many people think...so as regards desktop or laptop i always prefer a pc than a mac!!

You are right Apple Computer price is twice than other brand Computers. But I think Apple maintain the good quality and due to his popularity it is made.

Apple is just overhyped and overpriced. They sue everybody whenever they can and are just stealing ideas themselves. If you look at iOS 6 you can see that it begins to look more like Android. With $1200 you can buy a great gaming pc or laptop which is at least twice as fast as a Crapbook or iCrap. NEVER recommend anybody to buy that overpriced junk.

Hi kingparker, I prefer laptop to desktop as I can bring along it whenever going on vacation. Although I possess a smartphone I still like to surf net using laptop. Yeah, of course it would be rather heavy for carrying it compared to smartphone. It's not affordable for me to get any expensive apple products. Certainly I love Macbook or iMac as well as iPad or iPhone more than other brand devices. Yeah, with the same amount of money I can own a laptop and smartphone at the same time. Further more I'm really satisfied with both my laptop and smartphone though they are not apple products, for they serve their purpose very well Happy posting

I had an apple laptop before but I dindt buy it myself , I probably wouldn't . I am using a very good laptop right now and it is cheaper than my apple laptop . I think if its worth it if the person want and can afford it , I think whatever we want is worth it but is it better I would say NO . I compare laptop based on the specks not necessary the brand , I see a nice apple laptop I want but that will have to wait because this laptop I am using is new and it has no fault and fully updated.

I think it is not worth it to buy such an expensive products! Buying it, would mean, buying 2 gadgets in one price! But we can't blame many people to do it...Apple is really a reputable company and that their products are good and last long!

It all really depends on what you use it for. Also, it is largely up to personal opinion and personal preference. For example, you could probably do well with a Mac if you are into music production or graphic design. However, as I said, it is whatever you think will fit your needs and purposes the best.

Apple products are worth the money. I can attest to that. They are far more superior then the rest. And they are made well. Not like the others. But you do have to look at a few things. One, is it going to be used for just making money online and stupid things, if so, then a regular computer will fit that. If you're going to use it for school, work, graphics then it is worth every penny. I can tell you from experience that they out last an average computer 5 to 1. They are also way easier to use and as for viruses, well, I have never had one and don't know any other Apple person who has. I think buying an Apple computer is an investment. Other computers may be cheap, but if you add it up over a few years, you will spend more on getting your computer fixed from viruses or having to buy more of them. With an Apple they will last years. Mine is now 5 years old. It is still going strong. The main reason Apple fans buy new computers is because they want the latest ones. You do not have to do that. I have all Apple products and will never buy anything else. I am a fan for life.

Apple products are probably the best, there operating system is the best in the market so far, but is it worth the price? I don't think so. Apple products are overpriced but there products are good, worth the buy, but little overpriced ....
