Griffin Survivor case for iphone success stories

I recently had a mishap with my iphone. I happened to be up the top of a 12m (36 foot) tall diesel tank. I bent over to undo a cap so that I could measure the level of the diesel when my iphone fell out of my pocket, slid down the edge of the sloping tank roof and then hurtled towards the ground. I had a Griffin survivor case on my iphone which i bought for the specific reason of it falling out of my pocket, I was pretty sure that the case would handle a small drop from a pocket to the ground. The survivor case had been proven in this scenario many times without so much as a small ding or a scratch. But a drop off a tank like that had me rather worried. So I descended the stairs of the tank and much to my surprise the case had fully protected my iphone without any damage what so ever, even the case was mostly un-harmed. So my question to everyone is, have you had any such succes stories with the Griffin survivor case?
