What would you do if someone ordered something and still hasn't paid?

It has been five days since someone ordered something from me online. This person still hasn't paid. I have contacted her twice to see if she is still going to make a payment. There hasn't been any response. I think that I will have to make a non-payment review. I don't want to do that but she isn't contacting me and I think I need to relist my item.

In an online shop that is one risk that the seller must take note. there are lots of people who just tend to reserve items and will not pay during payout.i am sometimes buying online and i observe that most of the sellers have a particular album for bogus buyer/joy reserver for them to let other seller know that they must not trust them.i think you already did your part on reminding her about the item but since she has not response then do not wait for her anymore.

Yeah I have started a non payment review process. The person now has thirty days to make the payment. If payment is not received then they will receive a negative mark on their account for other sellers to beware of. Also the site will then relist my item. It's just irritating that people win auctions and then aren't ready to pay. To me it's a simple thing not to bid on items that you don't have money for. It says everybody time doing things that way.

I believe there is no need to make a non-payment review. Perhaps something went wrong in the process and the buyer does not have the intention to do anything bad. Just ignore his order until he makes payment or until you two finally able to get in touch with one another. As long as you don't send out the goods, there won't be any harm to you. On the other hand, the non-payment review can actually affect someone.

The buyer still hasn't paid. And since the item was auction off as sold then the site has to relist it. For that to be done there has to be a non-payment process started. The individual now has until the end of this month to pay. If they haven't paid by then the site will relist my item and they will have a review letting others seller know that this person has bid on and won auction but didn't pay. It is necessary for things like that so others don't have to go through the same process I'm going through. It would have been sad if I had shipped the item because they obviously are not intent on paying.

Hi there! i saw your post. In regards to your concern, question, what were you trying to sell and what's the name of the site? Is this like Ebay? Ordering something and you getting paid is like saying the item is free even when it's not even free. Isn't it supposed to be when customers order something from you, they pay first, and then you go ship it to them? It's supposed to be that. Do you have the persons contact info? like phone number? Cuz that wouldn't be fair if she ordered and just didn't pay you. What is that item the person ordered from you? I do hope the person got your emails or has read them. If not there should be some website customer sevice saying what if a customer ordered and didn't pay and they probaby can help solve that issue.

Thankfully I didn't send it out. I'm just waiting for the payment since she won the auction bid. This site does have a non payment review process. I started that and the individual has 30 days to pay. If there is no payment the site will relist the item and the individual will receive a negative review because of non payment.

I think that you have given her enough time to settle her payment. You ought to do something about her being delinquent in paying the items. Might as well have the item relisted.

Yeah I agree with you. I started a non payment process. So she will have a certain amount of time to pay. If she doesn't pay then the site will relist my item. As well as she will have a negative mark on her account for other sellers to beware.

I think wait for like 3 or 4 more days and send another mail... if she fails, then you could do that. I'm actually in the same situation, but on the other side. I bid on a bracelet on my country's own version of an ebay-like site, and I opted for in person paying, and I can rarely contact the person that has sold the item to me... she replied quite quickly for my first e-mail, so I recommended an appointment, and she hasn't answered. Then she got back at me, asked for another option, I answered, and she didn't care to answer for a week, saying that she's gonna be available on the weekened, when we agreed on a weekday, which is better for me. Then she said she would give it to her sister, and I can get it on her sister's flat at this and this time, then I again, recommended an appointment, and still no answer, almost for a week. I'm not sure what to do... I really want that bracelet, but it's getting on my nerves. If I sold stuff on the Internet, I would actually watch my e-mails daily, and care about when I'm gonna get the thing. It's a bit weird that I have to run after what I wanna purchase, and the seller does nothing. Especially as, as it's gonna be at her sister's flat... the appointment I recommended or offered was on Tuesday, but I wrote an e-mail before, when she didn't answer that I wasn't gonna go, because she didn't answer. I mean, how do I know that she has already given that bracelet? Also, I don't know the sister's name, whether it's a flat in a building, if I should ring a doorbell, if the sister knows about it... she really seems careless and unreliable.

I hope that you are able to get in contact with the seller. It is weird for you to have to chase her around. Yeah this lady that ordered from me has thirty days to make a payment. If she doesn't then she will receive a non payment mark on her account for other sellers to beware of. Also they will relist it.

Hi Dominique! Since you have contacted the person twice already and got no reply, you now have the right to re post the item for sale. It's quite understood that the person is no longer interested on the product he/she reserved. Go ,go, go... re list the item. It's a waste of time waiting, you will just be stressed up. Happy selling!

Thanks. I started the non payment process. The individual will have thirty days to pay for the product. If no payment is still made then it will be relisted and there will be a negative mark on there account so that other sellers will beware of their non payment record. It is so much easier if people do not win auctions that they do not have the money for. It saves everyone time and creditability.

i never ship the order until the person has paid. you have waited enough time, some people say they want to purchase something but never pay for it. i would start the non-payment review because 5 days is plenty. i would definitely relist the item.

I don't know that much about selling online, but isn't there some condition or sort of time frame wherein someone who places an order must pay within that period of time? Anyways, I think you've done your part by trying to get in touch with the buyer, and by the looks of it, she isn't that interested anymore. So I guess you should re-list the item so that others may have the opportunity to buy it.

Yeah I agree with you.Since she won the auction my item can't be relisted until after the non payment case clears. Which will be at the end of this month. She had thirty days and I don't think she is going to pay. If she doesn't my item can be relisted and there will be information on her account for other sellers to beware of. I think the individual was hoping that I would ship the product and then she would have free products without paying. It is sad that people do these types of things. I'm just happy that I make sure not to ship an item until I receive payment.

You should include the length of days to consider the order void. I shop online and pay on the spot upon ordering the item. Maybe you must do the same thing to avoid problem - let them pay soon as they order the item.

Thanks I agree with you. I let her know the amount of days but she hasn't responded to any of my emails. So I had to start a non payment review. She will have thirty days to pay. If not then she will have a negative mark on her account for other sellers to know and the site will relist my item.

Online business many time is not worth as we don't know whether the person is going to pay or not. The best way to do online business is to deliver the goods on "Pay On Delivery" basis or pay first by Credit card or Paypal. What you can do is that if you know the person then better go and ask for the money

Hi, By all means, you should not ship the item. You may end up on the losing end if the buyer receives it and decides not to pay once and for all.
