A fasination with yourself

I have been trying to understand why is it so important to some people to constantly take pictures of themselves. Are they that conceited to think they are such an interesting subject? I have noticed this mostly with younger girls. Always in some kind of pose with the bedroom eye look or the sexy pout on their faces. Help me understand this!

Those people are really conceited. They think they are all that, and that the world needs to see their swag. I personally find it ridiculous. Especially if they are posing in the bathroom or their parents' rooms and they don't even care to look around first or see what is left in the pictures... I've seen the most hilarious things in the background... birth control pills (the girl was barely 14), tampons, mom and dads' photo, the dog munching on a slipper, fake tan...
