What a great lesson!

I had one of those awesome lessons today. I began working with this particular student again about a week ago. She's homeschooled. When we first got together last week, she was beginning to study algebra and was completely lost. I discovered, through doing some different types of problems together, that she had not really learned very many of the skills leading up to algebra. She told me she really didn't like what she was doing. After working with her today, she became very excited and told me she was having fun! She thought all the things we learned today were easy (the same things she hated last week) and she was easily able to complete any of the problems. It's an awesome day anytime I can help someone else become as excited about learning as I am. I LOVE MY JOB!! What makes an awesome day for you?
