I didn't know it was a long weekend again here in our country

I woke up late this morning and was planning on what to do for today. I went online to check on some emails, then checked here. I saw one discussion about one of our national heroes, Andres Bonifacio. That's only when I realized that today is a holiday, thus making it a long weekend again for us.
There goes all of my appointments. No wonder they didn't reply back. It was because it will be a holiday and honestly, I no longer have a concept of time and when we do have holidays or not.
So, enjoy your long weekend friends. I will try to find something to do for this long weekend.

My daughter was the one who reminded me last night that about the holiday... i am just glad because i don't need to wake up very early to cook her lunch for school... ever since i stopped working... my concept of a holiday or long weekend disappeared... everyday is just the same old ordinary day for me...
I hope next year... when i finally get a job... this will all change...

Yesterday wasn't our holiday even though I am in the Philippines. Our work follows Korean holidays. So good of you who have three-day rest days. Enjoy your weekend. :)

Yeah, it is a long weekend, for the kids and those who have jobs.
We do have a calendar, but i too- sometimes forget what day it is.. i just get reminded of it since my daughter still goes to school.

I got all the days mixed up as well. Today is my brother's flight back abroad since his RnR from work is coming to an end. I then asked our 2 kid siblings if they want to be excused from their afternoon school activities so they can say goodbye to him. Turns out I don't have to because its a holiday. I asked them why they didn't remind this to me sooner. Turns out they're waiting for me to give them their allowances for today so they can have some extra money and then when I realized its a holiday I wouldn't be able to take it back, lol!

so have you thanked the post here since upon reading it you realized that today is holiday. there is no classes today and so a lot of kids are here over the playground playing. some of my friends went to the mall to do some bonding they even invited to come over but I think its best to do mylotting today.

I was born and raised in one country and now, I live in another. I have lived in this country for over 2 decades and still can't get used to some of the holidays that are different to the ones I grew up with. Anyways, I have learned to find the meaning of the holidays and just appreciate them. Even though, there are times when I will get out of sorts because I can't seem to get used to certain holidays. But I have learned to enjoy them.

Yesterday was also the canonization of St. Pedro Calungsod here in Cebu. More or less 500,000 people came from all over the country. It was a great day, the weather was perfect and people were rejoicing. I was glad that i get the chance of celebrating that solemn day. St. Pedro Calungsod is a constant reminder that we Filipinos still have a chance for a better future. :)

Christmas is on the way. go shopping in this weekend is a good idea. List all the thing you want to buy at first and then compare stuff quality, price one by one since you have plenty of time in the weekend. If you do not like. enjoy a movie at home. have a nice day. i will do some laudry today and clean up my room. It is in a mess.
