My own paranormal experience....

About 6 years ago now, I was staying with my grandparents for a week. They live in a very old house that was once lived in by D.H Lawrence, the English novelist and his parents Arthur and Lydia.
One evening, I was having a bath when there was a knock on the door. The bathroom door is made up of a huge pane of frosted glass held in a frame. So when I looked over, I saw my grandfather, just stood waiting for my response.
I said 'Yeah? You want the loo Grandad?'
I got no reply and my grandfather walked away.
I assumed that he WAS waiting to use the toilet, so I finished bathing as quickly as I could and went downstairs.
I entered the living room with a simple 'What did you want?'
Both my grandparents were sat watching the television and they turned to face me.
My grandfather said he didn't want anything, to which I replied, 'Well why did you knock on the bathroom door?'
He just looked at me, clearly puzzled.
I know it wasn't my nan because she can't ascend the stairs as her arthritic legs won't allow her to do so freely. She has to use the downstairs toilet.
Also, she is bigger than my grandfather and what I saw was a slender figure.
I was annoyed that my bath had been cut short so I said, 'If you want the toilet Grandad, just go!'
He then said 'I don't want the toilet, I'm watching Emmerdale! And I would've just used the loo down here anyway!'
By this point, I was really rather scared. There was nobody else in the house, just me and my grandparents....
And if someone had broken in, the dog would've gone CRAZY. Plus when we checked, all the doors and windows were locked. No signs of a break in. Nothing missing...
So who had I been talking to?
I'm uncomfortable even typing about it but I thought I would share my experience with you.

Say it and had to respond. I was about 8ish when this happened to me. I was sitting on my couch after eating good ol McDonald's. My cup was next to the lamp's shade which was upside down, I heard a noise and looked over to my cup. It was set on the shade moving back and forth. Couple hours later, I got into an argument with my mom and a few moments later, she started at me. I thought she was going to slap me for back-talking but when I was gonna run outside, she said " That evil spirit is going to get you". Then I ran to my room, she came at me, hold me down on the bed, Her eyes black, her eyes are blue, and she said "Shut up or you'll never see your mom again. Haven't had an experience since.

How old were you when this happened? It must have been a very scary experience for you

Doppelganger!This is crazy and really frightening.Glad I have not experienced such and i am not looking forward to experiencing such. :)

This is really scary and hair raising experience.
back in my hometown we have many scary experiences.
Our ancestral house remains closed most of the days because no one lives there but my dad alone.
He only comes home to sleep at night and then leave by the day for his business.
My sister who lives nearby takes care of the cleaning and other maintenance and check the house once a week or after two weeks.
So,the house is indeed lonely most of the time.
Every year our mom comes home to visit us (she works overseas) me and my other siblings stayed in our ancestral home.
And during our stays we experienced a lot of eerie experiences like- a baby crying
- radio or tv sets suddenly turns on and off.
- footsteps or seeing someone or a shadow passed by
The scariest thing my niece experienced is when she saw a boy peeping at the window staring at her (that was day time)
She screamed so hard because of the boy's appearance- according to her the boy's face color is green.
She was playing with my kids and my other nieces and nephews (my siblings kids) when she looks at the window and saw the creepy sight.
Aside from those, nothing is serious but it scares the little kids.
From then on- we decided to have people stay in the house.
One of my cousin and his family stays in the house as caretaker.
They still have creepy stories, but not so often.

it happened to me when i was in highschool, when we are still living in my families ancestral house. the house was really old, about 50 years old. i expected everyone to be in their respective rooms since it was already midnight. i was on my homework when suddenly there was a knock on my door. then heard somebody called my name, i recognized it to be my mom. so i immediately opened the door. i was so shocked to see all the lights outside my room is off, and that no one is there. it scared me so i closed the door and locked it. i stopped homework and immediately went to bed. i told my mother what happened but they wouldn't believe me.

Mine was in a hotel room during a vacation with my husband. My sister asked while we
were video chatting who's the girl behind me? Of course I turned around and no one's there. How there be a girl when it's just me and my husband? Then we find a hand mark
at bathroom door..

Oh my! I bet you never slept that night..If that happened to me I might be sleeping that night with my grannies and leave that house the very next day. I had experiences also of unexplainable things but just not sure if it was real or just my weird imagination.

I believe what you saw back then is a ghost. Ghost is present anywhere just that we don't normally made possible to see them. We can only see them in certain situations. If what you saw is real, he could be still in your room somehow as these things once settled down in a place, they will not leave easily. I guess it would not do you much harm, but if you really feel weird or maybe if any of the members of the family fall ill easily, perhaps you will need to find the professional to chase it away. Ghost and human are not meant to live together because they come from totally different world.

There is something strange in your neighborhood.. whom you gonna call? ________ buster. Creepy one Raine. eerie. I never thought such like that still happen nowadays. and really it is very scary. Who had you been talking to lately Raine? hmmm... is she a she or a he? Does she want to share bath with you? Whew... sometimes we just can't explain things happening around us.

Hi there!
Many people do not believe in the paranormal staff. What you're sharing here is a simple example of such activity though. I believe that you saw what they call "a ghost". You do not have to worry about it as it is not as bad as people usually describe it. It is like a living memory (if you know what I mean). You probably experienced something that happened in the past. It could be something important. It's rather scary, but it may be trying to show you something.

Paranormal events are really cool, well, I do love watching horror movies most especially the paranormal activity and the grave encounters. Anyways, so far in my 22 years existing in this world, I haven't tried experiencing weird and strange feeling except from the signs that people gave me before they will be die. Actually, before our neighbor die because of the cancer, I dreamed of her, she was happy and we are covering from the white light. Same dream I dreamed when another neighbor passed away. At first, i didn't mind it but last 2008, there was a kid here in our place that i didn't know that she has a heart failure. After I woke up in the morning I just tell my sister and cousin "someone will die today" not knowing that there was really a kid who suffering from too much sickness. And I wasn't wrong, it was happened unexpectedly and thank God, it never come back until today.

Thanks for sharing your real life experience my friend, though i am a scientist, I believe in ghosts/spirits/ demons/witches/extrasensory perception/para psychology.
Yes, ghost do exist, they live in a parallel plane, most of them are harmless.
Even in my home we have a 120 years drumstick tree, 2 ghosts live there, i have seen them, they never did any harm to us.
I never feel scared, they are friends to my family.

Hi, Raine! My husband and his siblings claim the same thing happening at their house when they were still young. They said that it was either a knowing of the door or the turning of the door know that they would often hear. And there were other "ghostly" encounters that had happened witnessed by their helpers. One of which really got scared that she went out of the house and never returned. I have not really had any experience at that house except for seeing a foot walked pass by me as I was going sown the stairs. My head was bent down while walking. I was actually looking for my sister in law. And when I learned that there was nobody home, I decided to go down and go back to the pharmacy where I was working. When I asked my sales clerk where my sister in law was, she said that she has already gone back to the office. Ans then I told her that my brother in law came home early that day. Then she said, he has not arrive yet coz it was still early. it was 3pm. He usually comes home between 5-6pm. I was shocked! Then I asked her who was upstairs. She said no one.
Well, then who's foot did I saw walked pass me and went inside the bathroom?

Well, I don't believe in ghosts but I do believe in angels and demons that can be seen. I suppose that ghosts are possible, though. There is a story in the Bible about a guy that went to a fortune teller and claimed to have seen the soul of a departed man of G-d. I think I would have to see it to believe it, or experience it to believe it. I haven't even had any close friends who say they have seen a ghost. I really don't know.

That's really some experience. But still you are lucky that you have experienced it for you will not be scared again. Well, I do have paranormal experiences (in plural) too. Because of that, I can say that supernatural things can't scared me anymore. Let them be like that for they are just envious with us.
