When u're on a break is it OK to sleep with someone else

Taking a break from a relationship, to me, means you need time to think things over. So why would you want to sleep with someone else and complicate things? I't like saying,"I want to leave you for a while and see if there is something better out there". You either want to be with a person or you don't. If you question if you are with the right person, you probably aren't.

If there's a break, for me, it's okay... but I do not approve of breaks, either. Either you stay together or break up for good, but that break... it sounds like "I might find someone better than you, but I wanna keep you as a second choice if I don't". But if it's a break, it's a break... if getting together is not accepted, is it a real break at all?

That is something to be discussed with your partner. I would think that if you are planning to get back together long-term, sleeping with someone else could be hurtful. Would you want your partner to sleep with someone else? Relationships aren't legal contracts. If we are looking for loopholes, we aren't really thinking of the other person's feelings...what's the future of a relationship like that?
