congratulations for Thailand and Phillipines..
especially for Thailand..
they get perfect points..9 points from 3 matches..
Phillipines becomes runner up
Phillipines in their last game, win 2-0 against Myanmar..
Thailand in the same time, win 3-1 against Vietname in another stadium..
The final standing of Group A in AFF 2012
Thailand become winner of Group A with 9 points, Phillipines becomes runner up with 6 points, Vietnam must be eliminated earlier with only 1 points..Myanmar have same points with Vietnam..
it`s worst achievement of Vietnam since the first AFF tournament had been hold..
Thailand and Phillipines must face the representative from Group B..
every team in Group B still have chance for being a winner and runner up from Group B..Indonesia lead the group with 4 points, Singapore in second position with 3 points, Malaysia have same point with singapore but poor goal collection, Laos have 1 point..the mathematics calculation enable every team still be a representative from Group B
It show that every team should be ready..the power had been spreaded..

Yeah, congract for Thailand and Philipines. But, i a little bit surprised when heard Philipines could beat Vietname cos you knew Vietname always be dangerous opponent for us beside Thailand, Singapore and Malayan tiger Malaysia. But, i knew since a couple years ago Philipines built their team with used their naturalize players like Younghusband brothers and it's work. Now, our team turn. I hope Bambang Pamungkas and friends can escape from "inferno group". At least they can get draw result with running champions and host, Malayan tiger so they can get first position and can challenge Philipines as runner up from group A

Yeah, you may doubt Nil Maizar's team and it's not wrong cos like you said, it's not the best team. I also doubt them at the first time when Laos could hold them draw. But, when they won from Singapore, finaly i had a hope although it just a little.

I don't really consider them a perfect team, I think Southeast Asian Football national team are still on its developing stage, we still have a long way before we can defeat other strong countries especially in the world cup. But both these countries can go on and become strong in the future..

even Laos began to be strong team..
Indonesia and Singapore had tested the beginner team like Laos..
Indonesia is only getting 1 points from laos..it`s record for Laos..
and they even lead 2-0 against Singapore before Singapore close the game with winning 4-3 against Laos

Today's match Ind vs mal is the most awaited match in this ongoing tournament. I was glued to my TV for the whole 90 minutes of play. I couldn't believe that two beautiful goals were scored within minutes in the first half leaving table topper speechless. Rajagopal must have studied well the opponents strategies to beat them. But as they say the ball is round the Malaysian team should not be complacent with the win. Anything can happen in football.
