When I entered college, the whole aspect of me being a student changed. My family experienced financial problems and we have had to compensate things, especially my studies. I even remembered my mom crying while she was telling me that I had to stop college and help the family. I was really frustrated and at the same time confused. I didn't expect that at I had to face such problem when I'm supposed to be studying college. On the other hand, I focused on finding ways for me not to stop schooling and at the same time help my parents financially. A blessing in disguised came and a job was offered to me by one of friends. It was a rigorous job and I can say that it takes most of my time in a day. Nevertheless, I was happy, contented and satisfied with how my life works right now. I'm proud to say that I'm being mature in an early stage in life. Fantastico!

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand your situation and i also feel bad for your situation and the condition that your family is going through at present. i know u wanted to continue studies and go on to fulfill your dreams but even u had to surrender in front of the circumstances. I think God has never biased anyone and i am sure he must have planned something bigger for u in the future. Now since u have a job in hand, try to make the most of it and earn more and support your family as much as possible.
What say?

Thank you soo much for the inspiring comment mister! You're really right. Maybe this chapter of my life is an opportunity for me to see things from another perspective and perhaps learn of what this chapter conveys. Most of all, I'm happy with my job now and I get to know a lot of people and as well as widen my knowledge horizon. Thanks!

When i was 18, i experienced to be a working student too. Because of financial problem, i don't want to stop studying and i ended up applying for a part time job. And that was my first job! I am studying at the morning and working at the evening. I also experienced staying awake for almost 36 hours!!!
I am thanking God because He helped get through with that. And now, I am already graduate. Having a good job and soon to be a mother :)
Thumbs up for all the working students!!!
