I just had to do it.
I bought a gift today for a homeless family.
They come in several times per week and buy coffee and cookies.
Sometimes they are missing a few cents, but I give them what they want.
I also have the wife come back at night, and fill their thermos with coffee for free.
As i have to toss it.
So today I bought them a blanket.
I know its not much, but there are 5 of them .
The wife cried when I gave it to them.
I wish i could do more for them.
Especially at xmas time.

Bless your heart. There's loads of people who lives in the street in the place where I live before. That's what I did too, but later on as I look closer upon their lives, it got me disappointed in helping them. It seems that they just wait for help to come and don't really give a try to at least work for a decent life.
Still when they come to where I lived and asked for water I still give them and I try to talk to them too and encourage them to hope in the Lord and try to give good in sights about life.

Good, at least those people are good people co's they also bought from your place. Some people like them are advantageous, they took advantage of someone's generosity.

That's so kind of you. Your behavior reminds me of a policeman who bought a pair of shoes for a homeless man. This photo becomes popular online. I am glad to see there are still so many nice people in the world. And you are one of them and it means a lot

A benevolence person has nothing to fear, your act of kindness will be repaid in the time when you are most in need by good karma you earned. It is good to be compassionate to those who are less fortunate than you, it make you grow stronger internally and feel good. You should give yourself a pat at the back of your shoulder and sleep well tonight.

I CAN SEE BY YOUR FACE that you are a good person. That's such a beautiful story!!!!!!! Thank you so much for making this world better, there are so many selfish people and seeing that there are also kind ones brightened up my day, that was an amazing gesture of you, wow. I'm sure they were that happy, the one that receives the most are actually the giver.

Personally the people who never Stop to think about and help those who are less fortunate than them, are the ones really missing out. I know I enjoy giving back to the homeless, and that is why my husband and I started doing the homeless ministry with our church. It truly touches me when you can do something nice, and see their tears of gratitude as well.

You do what you can and I hope that your business is really blessed so that you can do more. I think the coffee thermos is a great way to use something that would otherwise be wasted.

That is so nice of you. I am glad that you are thoughtful and that you do so much for them. The giving spirit is not seen as often as it should be. More and more people are having problems. I am sure the extra coffee and the blanket will stick with them forever. Your kindness abounds. God Bless You!

Kudos
It gives happiness when you know you have done something good to others.
no matter how small it is.
Good deeds starts from small things and later it will become a habit.
I am sure this will not be the first and last time you will lend a hand...this is just the beginning and I salute you for that

Hi Maria! So where do they sleep? In our country, I have seen some families sleeping on pavements and on the streets. I wonder where that family sleeps at night. Can't the parents find some work so they can rent a place to stay?

That is very kind of you. Not many individual would treat the homeless like human beings and actually assist them. There may be reasons why people would become homeless. I think sometimes people just cannot earn enough to provide themselves a shelter. Thus, those who are in a better condition should help these unlucky ones as much as we can. It would not hurt our pocket much but doing it can save people and make ourselves happier and life to be more meaningful.
By the way, if I were you, I would have given them a netbook so that they can participate in Mylot. Hahaha just joking

It is a really a good job you are doing. You are a very very nice person. Actually if everybody in the world should adopt this habit so that there will be joy everywhere in this universe. One gets satisfied by helping other and seeing a delighted feeling on their faces which makes us to forget our sorrows. Even me too try to give something to needy persons as much as i can afford whenever possible.I t gives me much pleasure which can not be expressed in words.

Hello mariaperalta. You are so nice and kind to people. I am greatly moved by what you did for the homeless family. My father used to give money to those beggars on the street and food to them if they dropped by. I appreciate what you do for them. Take care and have a merry Christmas in advance.

That is something that is so very kind of you to have done with someone. I always try to help those that are less fortunate than our family when I can. Unfortunately, we've been very tight on money this year, so I haven't been able to do as much as I'd like to be able to do. However, this doesn't mean that I haven't been able to help others. I've donated some toys that my children no longer use to a toy drive here in town and I've also donated our old coats to a coat drive for the homeless in our area.
May you have many blessings for a happy and healthy year to come for the kindness that you've showed to people that are essentially strangers.
