For a woman like me, I don't care whatever gift my partner will give me just to say sorry. I used to have a boyfriend who will give me bouquet of roses whenever he did something wrong. It helped me with my ego but still the emotion is there. I prefer a sincere apology. Everyone can say sorry. But the deepest apology can be found on one's eyes. Hi, I don't know the type of girl you had, but most of them just open like flowers if you give a hint of a very fat wallet and going somewhere, out to the mall perhaps, for very good time together. I think the best way of saying sorry would be by humbly accepting the mistakes if one has committed and apologizing for the same.
