Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i would always like a lady to be gifted with the gifts that she is very close to. If a woman loves spending time with her make up so she should be gifted with a make up kit. Besides other than materialistic things, u can take a woman to a candle light dinner and make special arrangements at that place exclusively for her on the eve of her birthday so that she will feel extra special and would be grateful to you for such a lovely surprise. What say?

Good question. I think it really depends on the woman. A man (husband, boyfriend, significant other) would really have to know his woman to get her something she would like. Does she like jewelry? Does she even wear jewelry? What are her hobbies? If she enjoys reading, a book would be nice. Does she enjoy gardening? Maybe some gardening tools? Does she like to eat out? A dinner for two would be nice with her man or he could even cook for her. She would appreciate the time he took to prepare her a meal she would enjoy. You really have to know the woman's likes to cheer her up and make her happy. You need to know her hobbies, her habits, and her personality.

buddy from my side..it would be great to gift her a vacational trip with more privacy and a lonely place where only both of you would be present..and remind her how much you care for her in a writing more..than you tell her verbally..

for me as a girl whatever you give on my birthday will make me cheer up just thinking that you exert some effort to buy me something will make me happy.. but if you really want an answer i think it would be something that i can see everyday maybe a stuff toy or a piece of jewelry..

Lots of woman love diamonds, chocolates, flowers etc. But not all the time it has to be something material. The last birthday I had was the most romantic one for me. It was my first birthday to be with someone I consider 'the one'. He led me to believe that he forgot my birthday and that I won't be seeing him that day. I was so shy to ask him if he knows that it was birthday so I just waited till my work shift ends hoping that he's just waiting outside my office and ready to surprise me. But to my dismay, he wasn't there. I went home feeling neglected and cried. Then after less than an hour I received a call from him asking me to meet him outside our house. I know then that he know it was my birthday but this didn't change my mood. Upon seeing him, he smiled with tease because I think he realised that I cried. I was just quiet as we went to my favourite restaurant and he ordered my favourite dish. Before the dinner was served, I went to the wash room to fix myself still ignoring him. When I went back I thought I saw him smiling but I just ignored it. Then someone greeted me from behind. It was one of the crew who greeted me happy birthday while carrying a cake with lighted candle on her hand and started singing the birthday song. I almost cried. I was completely surprised. He planned it all. I know that he didn't spend that much compared to other past boyfriends I had but this one is the most special I got.

Makes woman happy is the duty of a man, because only a real man can make a woman happy and feel secure when she beside him. That's my opinion.. cheers ^^

Give her flower and a romantic card , then you can write your own poems :) And take her to romantic dinner, and give her some gifts that she really want, not must expensive stuff if you don't have much money, but you must do it with sincere m Good luck :)

flowers and chocalte maybe the best gifts for a woman. If you have enough money, go to see a romantic movie.
