The more you chase it, the more it will elude you

They say happiness is like a butterfly; the more you chase it, the more it will escape from you. And when you divert your attention to other things, it will finally be yours. Is it true? Did you have any life experiences that say so? Sometimes stress makes us paranoid like worrying alot. But when we relax ourselves and just think positive things, better things come our way. Especially when that thing will make us happy.

I have set y mind into letting things happen at their right time. I feel that the more I want something to happen, it seems like forever waiting. Much better really to be busy with other stuff that needs immediate attention than wait for something to happen which you are not really sure that it is going to happen.

Yes, I think that makes sense, because if you think about it, the people who seem happiest are often very laid back people, while people who are really stressed try everything they can think of, and still never seem happy. So I do believe there is some truth to what you are saying for sure! :)

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well yes this is absolutely correct, what is the point in chasing happiness when we are supposed to work hard and stay focused all the time. We should have this in mind that nothing can be achieved with our hard work dedication and determination forget about the happiness. if we always think about happiness then we are moving away from it and ultimately we would be very far from it. So its better to work hard and leave everything else to the Almighty. What say?
